The battle for first place as the Billy Mac Jr. show prevails! One goal and two helpers for Billy, who totally controlled the game from his right defense position. Jimmy “Jets” Galloway and Craig Bastuba also score for the Fish. Al Pyc with the Hawks lone marker. Both goalies – Greg Sutter and with his wife Terri in attendance on Valentine’s Day, Keith Konnie with superb performances in nets.

The large Valentine’s crowd enjoyed this shoot out at the O.K. Corral! Bruins go up 5 zip entering the final period and hold off the surging Flyers. Line-mates John McNeilly and the league’s leading scorer Mike Nalepa(Also 3 Helpers) with two goals a piece. Singles for Rex Baker, Chuck Bowers and sub Paul Erickson. Flyers sub Chris Isola with the natural hat trick and fellow sub Lenny Gerbino tally for the Flyers.

Larry “School Boy” Rowe scores the Habs first two goals as they defeat the visiting Wings. Singles for John Cornish, Bryan Prentice and an empty netter by Steve Bittner. Brian Moore and sub Stacey tally for the Wings.
HAWKS 5 FLYERS 3
The Hawks needed to win this game and hope the Sharks and Habs tie in their game for a first place finish. The Hawks did their part but the other game did not comply. Dr. Nate McNaughtry with the trick for the Hawks. Singles for Al Pyc and Czech sub Rich Artimovich. The league’s leading goal scorer Rob Rowling with a two goal game for the Flyers. It came down to the final game of the season! Both teams tied for first place – winner takes all! Congrats to the Sharks! Playing a fantastic and inspired game – “Downtown” Jimmy Brown was everywhere and records the natural hat trick in the final period! His first two goals were on the power play, as both times Pierre Dugas watched helplessly from the box. Singles for Ward Peterson, Craig Bastuba and feeling very angry today – Joey Ventimiglio! Bryan Prentice and Pierre Dugas with the Habs goals.
