Deuces wild for Nate McNaughtry and Jim Puffer.  Mike Miller with a quick snap shot goal.  Goaltender Dar with a strong game in nets and an assist to boot!  The Steve’s – Lemieux and Bayagich score for the Frenchmen, who are still missing their Captain and catalyst Bryan Prentice who remains on the DL.

WINGS   3     BRUINS   1

Paul “Stork” Erikson, Rob Rowling and sub Jeff “Marine” Steiber dent the twine for the Wings.  Puck stopper Kris Arthur was stellar in nets.  John Cornish was the only Bruin to solve King Arthur.

FLYERS   6     HAWKS   4

Up and down hockey in this contest!  Mike Brown and Trevor Wrobel both with two goal games.  Singles for Brian Moore and Eddie Sudzina.  Center John McNeilly scores twice for the Hawks.  Subs Rob Aughe and Chris Isola with singles.

The high octane Flyers put another six spot on the board behind another two goal game from Mike Brown and Trevor Wrobel.  Brian Moore and Marty Papesh also with Flyers markers.  Line-mates Mark Rogers and Steve Bayagich(Also 3 Helpers) score twice for the Habs.  Bryan Prentice sub Greg Kalvin with a single.

The top spot predatory Sharks are now undefeated in their past five contest’s as they clip the five game unbeaten streak of the Wings, as they score five times in the opening stanza!  Brighton resident, sub Scott Bozyk with the deuce.  Singles for Mike “King of the Road” Miller, Steve “With a Nod and a” Wink, Dr. Nate McNaughtry and having a fine season thus far – Ward Peterson.  Wings – Rob Rowling(2), Jeff Funk and Paul Erickson.  Scott Chodun of the Wings and regular Wings player Kyle Lybecker of the Sharks, take turns chopping each other and hit the box in tandem.

HAWKS    7    BRUINS    5

Last season’s MVP and Rookie of the Year, Zach Wagner with a huge four goal game for the Hawks!  Zach was soaring today!  Robbie Olmstead, John McNeilly and Paul Violassi with singles.  Donnie Rivera, Joey Reiss, John Cornish, Mike “Padre” Nalepa  and Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with the Bruins goals, who drop a deuce today.
