A well played contest as both goalies – Billy Schaugg of the Flyers and Gordy Nadolsky of the Habs play outstanding games. Steve “Mario” Lemieux and sub Scott Bozyk tally for the Frenchmen. Brian Moore and Danny Rea with the Flyers goals.

The Sharks spread the wealth as six different players dent the twine! Brian Reath, Mike Miller, Steve Wink, Ward Peterson, Mike Garlick And Nate McNaughtry score for the Fish. Big Rob Rowling with a two goal game for the Wings. Singles for Scott Chodun and Paul Erikson. No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

Sharks go up 4-0 after the first period and hang on for the W, as they sweep on the day! The Sharks fans were having a blast in the stands, as they danced to their version of the cartoon Baby Shark song! Those of you who have young kids or grandkids know what I’m talking about. Sharks sub Rob Aughe with the deuce and two tripping penalties to boot. Frank “Crash” Casali and Dr. Nate with singles. Marty Papesh, Danny Rea and sub Fouladbash score for the Flyers, who are now winless in their past three doubleheaders.

John McNeilly and Rob “Larry” Giroux also with goals, as the first place Hawks are now undefeated in their past five contests. Rob Rowling and having a breakout season – Paul “Stork” Erikson score for the Wings.

The Bruins split on the day behind the two goal game of sub Scott Davenport. Singles for John Cornish, Jimmy “Jets” Galloway, Rex Baker and Joey Reiss. Steve Lemieux and subs Scott Bozyk and Greg Kalvin score for the last place Habs, whose season’s aspirations are dropping faster that the Times Square ball on New Years Eve, as they are now winless in their past ten games!
