This was a big game as the Wings leapfrog the Bruins into second place!  Whoa!  Where was this guy all year?  Relatively quiet all year, Wings forward Jeff Ivory with a huge dominating 3 & 2 game!  Nice job Jeff!  Line-mate sub Tringali with a 1 & 3 game.  Youngster Chad Wooten with the game winning goal.  Power play specialist “Midtown” Mikey Brown who had an excellent playoffs, Donnie Rivera, Mike Garlick and Zach Wagner tally for the men in yellow.

The Sharks come through big time behind the hat trick effort of power forward Trevor Wrobel!  Richy Artymovich and sub Debrincat( No – Not Alex of the Chicago Black Hawks – But a Relative) with singles.  The Hawks were one point behind the Sharks coming into the contest and needed the W!  Didn’t happen.  Scott Chodun and sub “Skip” Lockwood dent the twine for the Hawks.

A game of no consequence for the top spot Flyers, as they ready themselves for next week.  Rob Rowling and subs “Archie” Montgomery and I would assume Larry Rowe’s son, tally for the Wings.  Mark Rogers with the lone Flyers marker.

SHARKS   4    WINGS   3

The marquee game of the night, as it turned out this was the deciding game for the Championship game entry.  The Sharks go up 4 zip and hang on for the clinching W!  Trevor Wrobel with the deuce.  Singles for Greg Stacey and Nate McNaughtry.  The Wings score three times in the final stanza, their last marker with the goalie pulled.  Mike Riddle, Chad Wooten and John McNeilly tally for the Wings.

The Flyers right the ship this game behind the two goal game of John Cornish.  Singles for Mark Rogers and Mike “King of the Road” Miller.  Sub goalie Brian Miller stood tall in nets.  Rex Baker, Zach Wagner and Mike Garlick with the Bruins goals.  Paul Vioalssi of the Flyers chops Mikey Brown, who retaliates with a minor roughing penalty as they hit the box in animated tandem.

Smooth skating Mr. Brian Moore with a four goal game!  Scott Chodun with the Hawks initial goal.  Pierre Dugas and sub Jeff Steiber do the honors for the Frenchmen.
