The hard working Habs did something this game that no other team has in the Bruins past 18 games! Defeat the Bruins! The Bruins Michigan Sting record, in either the “A” or “R” league of 18 consecutive undefeated games was unceremoniously snapped by the Habs in very convincing fashion! John Dooley, Al Pyc, Jimmy George, Stevie Lambert and on a dazzling end to end rush – sub Kenny Debus light the lamp for the Frenchmen. Sub Matt Lawson and power play specialist Chris Zanke score for the Bruins.

Da Hawks dominate the Wings in this contest. Steve Orr with a two goal game. Singles for Jack Priauix, Billy Hagen, Eddie Higgins and Mark Smyth. Chuck Mouraine and Ronnie Meltsner with the Wings markers. Brian Belloli of the Hawks and Paul Giles of the Wings both pick up simultaneous unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalties. Soon as Giles hits the ice, he racks up another one!
BRUINS 5 SHARKS 4
Bruins seemingly cruising with a 4-1 lead only to see the Sharks make this a nail bitter at the end! Curt Bailey scores twice for the Bruins. Singles for Curt Lesnau, Rob Halbhuber and sub Matt Lawson. Ben Haynes with two Sharks markers. Steve Dietrich and Barry Piornack also score for the Fish, who are now winless in their past seven contest’s.
HAWKS 3 HABS 1
The Hawks mix up their lineup again and move Jack Priauix back to defense, as the move pays immediate dividends as scores in each game today! Eddie Higgins and sub Boice also with Hawks goals as they sweep on the day. Goaler Brian Miller shined in nets! James George was the only Frenchmen to solve Mr. Miller.

“How bout that”, as Mel Allen would say! Flyers Captain Ryan O’Rourke records the hat trick on this special day for him! Ryan O’Rourke bobblehead day! The guy was fired up! Line-mate Mike Ala with the deuce, as once again this line factors in on all of it’s teams goals! Goal-keep Bobby Rutkoske with an eight save shutout. No highlights for the goal starved Wings, as rumblings of an administrative shakeup is rumored!
