SHARKS 6 WINGS 0
The Sharks do their job and sweep on the day and end the playoffs on a seven game undefeated streak. Alas – it still was not enough as the Habs win the tiebreaker to play next week. Deuces wild for Pierre Dugas and sub Barker. Mike Garlick and David Rupprecht with singles. Sub goalie Bissell vacuumed up everything with the well earned whitewash! Guess the Wings were saving their offensive output for next week!
HABS 6 HAWKS 0
The Habs needed to win and they did, as they will face-off in next week’s Sam Cupp Championship game against the high powered Wings! Billy Schaugg with his 799th career shutout! Another two goal game for Rob Rowling. Singles for Army veteran Eddie Sudzina, Paul “Stork” Erikson and sub Billy Reiss. The Hawks didn’t do the Sharks any favors with a lack luster effort.
BRUINS 7 FLYERS 5
A game of zero consequence as the high scoring affair indicates. John Cornish scores twice for the Bruins. Singles for Jeff Steiber, Mike Nalepa, Nick Piccolo(Also 3 Helpers), Rex Baker and sub Scott Davenport. Ending his season in a bang – Center Trevor Wrobel with a four goal game! Jimmy “Jets” Galloway goes top shelf as the Flyers end the playoffs with eight consecutive defeats!
