Hawks goalie Chris MacDonald stands on his proverbial head and stones the Sharks time after time! The Robillard brothers Chris and Joe, Brian Moore and Trevor Knight tally for the Hawks. This guy’s wife makes the BEST cannoli’s – Billy Reiss with the lone Sharks goal.
WINGS 5 BRUINS 1
Dar and the Wings shut down the Bruins. Zach Wagner and cohort Anthony Amato both with two goal games! Fore checker supreme Scott Chodun goes five hole. Jeff “Marine” Steiber with the Bruins goal. Scott Chodun and Craig “The Evil Within” Bastuba take turns cross checking each other and reside to the sin bin.
WINGS 7 HAWKS 5
A wide open affair as the score indicates. Zach Wagner and returning from parts unknown, sub Steve Wink with two goal games for the second place Wings. Singles for Rob Montgomery, Steve Bayagich and Anthony Amato. Trevor Knight goes hat trick for the Hawks. Brian Hamlin and Chris Robillard also with Hawks goals. Center Brian Moore with a four assist game!
SHARKS 9 FLYERS 3
Lot’s of frustration came out this game, as the Sharks show absolute no mercy and rout the reeling Flyers! Hank Richardson with the hat trick for the Sharks. Nate McNaughtry and sub Paul Erickson(Also 3 Helpers) with the deuce. Singles for Mike Nalepa, Scott Leslie and Jim Bulgarelli. Angelo Pizzo, Ian Axworthy and Billy Mac Jr. score for the Flyers. I always say when the good guys snap – look out – they snap! Flyers Captain Trevor Wrobel picks up roughing and unsportsmanlike minor penalties and also a ten minute unsportsmanlike conduct penalty all in the same incident and a first period exit of the game! Jim Bulgarelli was his counter part, as he incurs a two minute roughing infraction.
HABS 4 BRUINS 3
Two weeks in a row the first place Habs have their full team, as they remain undefeated in the playoffs! What happened to these Bruins, as they were unbeatable in the last half of the regular season, but are now winless in the playoffs as they show their frustration with four penalties in the game and also allow two early power play goals which set the games tone. Rumblings of a management shakeup are prevalent. Don Cherry has declared his candidacy for the job! Greg “Bruce” Sutter with a strong game in nets for the Habs. Steve Lemieux, John Crisi, Rob Rowling and HOF baseball player Paul Molitor lookalike(See Picture Below) Brian Reath score for the French guys. Mark Micolo, Joe Ventimiglio, and Jim Roble with the Bruins markers.
