Sub Bill Murdock with a top shelf rocket. “Black” Jack Priauix of the Wings, with a solo roughing minor penalty.

A very nice goaltending battle between victorious Habs Goalie Dave Gaskey and Flyers rookie Mike Haines! Sub Matt Lawson with the game winning goal. Sammy Bonanno and Timmy Schultz(EN) with singles. Chuck Mouraine with the Flyers lone goal.
HAWKS 3 BRUINS 2
Goalie Bobby Rutkoske and the Hawks play a strong game and hold on for the win! Sounds like a polka band! Billy Hagen, Adam Godard and Kenny Perko score for the Hawks. Joe Plati and Dougie Roehl tally for the men in yellow.
WINGS 3 HAWKS 3
Wings power play specialist Al Pyc bangs in a rebound late in the game for the tie! Once again Paul “Jay” Giles and sub John Higgins score for the second place Wings, who are undefeated in their five past contests. Hawks sub Chuck Bowers with a two goal game and living up to his high draft pick selection – Kenny Perko scores again.
FLYERS 5 SHARKS 1
The low scoring and high penalty minute Flyers find some goals this game as they rout the Sharks! Pat “Crazy Legs” Berry and returning from parts unknown – sub Bob “Bugsy” Watson both with two goal games! Captain Ryan O’Rourke with their final tally. Sub Bill “Rupert” Murdock with the lone Shark goal who drop their third straight game.
HABS 1 BRUINS 0
The first place Habs and goalie Dave Gaskey defeat the Bruins in this thrilling one goal penalty free game! Winger Robbie Porter with the games only goal. Hats off to Bruins goalie Mike Schmligen who simply stood on his head this game! Nice game Mike! The new year looks pretty much the same as the old year for the last place Bruins, who are now winless in their past 11 games! It’s pretty much no league secret – if you shut down the Bruins top line, you shut down the Bruins.
