A game of high magnitude, as the Hawks trail the Flyers by a single point for second place in the standings entering today’s games and the opportunity to play next week! Chuck Mouraine(Hooking) of the Flyers impedes Tommy Hines(Roughing) of the Habs as they both hit the box in tandem.

A little too late for the Wings, as they surprisedly sweep today! “If only the playoffs were longer” Brian Belloli says postgame! Al Pyc, Jimmy George and “Black” Jack Priauix score for the Wings. Sub goalie Billy Papciak was stellar in nets! Tommy Oswald with the lone Shark goal in this penalty free game. Rumors circulated postgame that longtime Sharks player General Robert E. Lee wants his contract restructured or he will demand to be moved to another team!
FLYERS 2 BRUINS 2
Ouch! Bruins sub Bob “Bugsy” Watson scores with 8 ticks left on the clock for the tie and steels a crucial point from the Flyers! Line-mate Steve Lemieux with the Bruins initial goal. Kevin Maguire and Steve Orr(SH) score for the Flyers. Flyers goalie Mike Haines and Bruins sub goalie Perye both with outstanding games between the pipes!
HAWKS 2 HABS 1
The marquee game of the night, as center Robert Stempian scores his second goal of the game with a buck 25 left in the game, to send the Hawks to the Sam Cupp Championship game next week and deliver the Habs their one and only loss of the playoffs! Hawks sub goalie Paul Kaczmarek was simply outstanding in nets, as he gave his best butterfly Tony Esposito impersonation! Moncton call up Larry “School Boy” Rowe with the lone French marker in this penalty free game.
