7 – FIRST TIME DONORS

Goal 24

Collected 38 WOW!

114 – LIVES SAVED!

GREAT JOB STING MEMBERS!

HAWKS  2    BRUINS   2

A game of zero magnitude, not unless you count the battle of the toilet bowl(See Below)!

Hawks sub Robbie Olmstead with both of their goals.  The initial goal was 30 ticks into the game.  Robbie Porter with both Bruins markers.

HABS   0    SHARKS   0

The scoreless game is rare in any league!  Kudos to puck stoppers Dave Gaskey of the Habs and Brian Miller of the Sharks!

WINGS   2    FLYERS   1

A game of high stakes as the Wings clip the Flyers.  Mark Smyth goes five hole late in the final period to snap the 1-1 tie and score the game winner for the Wings.  Bruce Gooel with the Wings first goal.  Goaler Bobby Rutkoske was simply outstanding this game!  Power forward Kenny Perko with the lone Flyers marker.  In a losing effort, Flyers goalie Mike Haines with a stellar game in nets!  This was a penalty free game.

SHARKS   2    BRUINS   1

Another game of low magnitude, as the Sharks edge the Bruins.  Robert Stempian and Doug Beck both with late final period goals for the Sharks.  Once again – goalie Brian Miller shined in nets for the Sharks!  Detroit native Jimmy Klimkowski with the Bruins lone goal.  Losing goalie Mike Schlimgen with a very strong game between the pipes.

WINGS   2    HABS   0

This puck stopper only gets better with age!  Growing up playing on the Heilman(See Picture Below) outdoor rink(And Yes We Shoveled the Snow), as myself, Kenny Schaeffler and Jimmy Klimkowski did – once again, Detroit native Bobby Rutkoske was outstanding between the pipes!  Mike Lawson and Green Bay native, sub Cheesewright score for the Wings.  The top spot Wings are in the drivers seat for a Championship game appearance, as they win their third consecutive game.  No French Highlights.

FLYERS   5    HAWKS   2

A big W for the Flyers as they dominate the Hawks!  Feeling pretty frisky this game – Bill Murdock of the Flyers, with a two goal game and two chopping minor penalties to boot.  Singles for Ryan O’Rourke, Jimmy George and Sammy Bonanno.  If the Flyers do happen to participate in the Championship game, this would be Sammy Bonanno’s fourth consecutive appearance!  Maybe the fourth time will be the lucky charm – Lol! Billy Hagen and sub Steve Orr score for the Hawks who are winless in their past five games.

Bruins defenseman Ted Green suffered a fractured skull in a stick fight with which player?
