RAN INTO CURRENT AND PAST STING FAMILY MEMBERS AT THE
RED WINGS GAME MONDAY.
CURRENT – TYLER “DUCK DYNASTY” TENECUK
PAST – BRYAN PRENTICE
HAWKS 3 BRUINS 3
Both teams play a solid game as the final result attests to that. Both puck stoppers – Chris MacDonald of the Bruins and sub Gordy Nadolski of the Hawks with excellent games between the pipes. Jim May, Rob Rowling and Robbie Olmstead score for the Bruins. “Angry” Joe Ventimiglio, Brian Moore and sub Ken Debus do the honors for the Hawks.
HABS 7 FLYERS 0
The rare shutout in this run and gun league! Hats off to goalie Tim Parker of the Habs! Now having said that – you can tell by the score this was a lopsided affair! Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the tour du chapeau. Mike’s final goal was awarded, as the opposing goalie threw his stick at the puck! Billy Reiss with the deuce. Singles for brother Joe and Anthony Amato. No Flyers highlights.
SHARKS 4 WINGS 1
The Sharks dispatch the Wings in a workmanlike effort behind the stalwart goaltending of Sting rookie Mark MIcolo Jr. Ian Axworthy with the Sharks first and final goals. Dave Rupprecht and Steve Lemieux also score. Chris Robillard with the lone Wings goal.
HAWKS 4 WINGS 2
The still undefeated Hawks in this young season send the Wings to a double dip defeat. Center Brian Moore with a two goal game for the Hawks. Mike Riddle and the above pictured Tyler Tenechuck with singles. Jeff Steiber and Mike T. Brown tally for the Wings.
BRUINS 5 HABS 1
The guys in yellow score three final period goals for the W! Nate McNaughtry with a two goal game for the Bruins. Singles for Rob Rowling, Steve Bayagich and sub Paul “Night of the Living Dead” Erikson. After scoring at will in game one – Billy Reiss with the lone French goal.
SHARKS 4 FLYERS 4
A very entertaining contest for the one person in attendance! Trevor Wrobel scores his second goal of the game, as he puts his Flyers up 4-3 with four minutes left in the game. 46 ticks of the clock later, Dave West scores his second goal of the game and ties it up for the Sharks, as that’s the way the game ends! Mike Akins and Rob “The Full Monty” Montgomery also score for the Flyers, who are still winless in this young season. Ron Nanney and Steve Lemieux with singles for the Fish.
