BACK FROM A 17 DAY FLORIDA AND NASHVILLE TOUR!

TIME TO DRY OUT – EH?

FLYERS   3    BRUINS   0

One of my favorite players – Frank Pedwaydon scores 35 ticks into the game as the Flyers and goalie Brian Miller blank the Bruins.  Mike Fox and Ryan O’Rourke with an empty netter round out the Flyers scoring.  No Bruins highlights in this penalty free game.

WINGS   4    HABS   1

The Wings open up a 4-0 first period lead and cruise to the W.  Dave Speiss with the deuce.  Singles for Ronnie Meltnser and Bobby Watson.  “Sugar” John Marchin shiined in nets for the Wings!  Habs longtime Captain Kenny “Primetime” Wilkins with their only goal.

HAWKS   4    SHARKS   3

The Hawks play a workman like effort game and edge the Sharks.  Todd Hachigian scores twice for the Hawks.  Singles for Brian Belloli and Kenny Perko.  John “The Little Ball of Hate” Perini goes twine twice for the Sharks.  Bruce “The Enabler” Gooel with their final tally.

HAWKS   3    FLYERS   2

The Hawks sweep on the day as they win a couple of well played and close contests.  Sub John “JP” Higgins scores two unassisted goals for the Hawks.  Billy Hagen with the middle marker.  Goaler Mike Haines with a solid showing between the pipes for the Hawks.  Robert Stempian and Doug “Jeff” Beck tally for the Flyers.

WINGS  8     BRUINS   0

Ouch!  These high scoring Wings and my preseason first place selection, run roughshod over the Bruins by scoring six times in the final stanza!  Bob “Bugsy” Watson with the deuce.  Singles for Steve Orr, Kevin Maguire, Dave Speiss, Pat Berry and Doug Roehl.  “Sugar” John Marchin with the whitewash.  The Bruins fail to score a goal in today’s games.  Ouch!

HABS   5     SHARKS   2

The Habs play a very solid game as they harpoon the Sharks(See Picture Below of the actual Mako Shark Caught in Cabo by Paul Violassi) for the W.  Paul said the shark was very tasty!  Mike Ala scores twice for the Habs.  Singles for Robbie Porter, Mike Harke and once again Kenny Wilkins.  Goalkeeper Bobby Rutkoske with a sharp game in nets.  Ben Haynes and Dave Debrincat score for the last place Sharks who now have dropped three games in a row.

Keith Tkaczuk ( The Dad) played 18 years in the NHL.

Name the four teams he played on?

Atlanta Thrashers

Winnipeg

Phoenix

St. Louis
