Sharks sub Mike Garlick scores the eventual game winning goal in the first period and John Perini the empty net insurance clincher.  Sub goalie Clarl stood tall in nets with the whitewash!  No Hawks sightings this game.

BRUINS   4    FLYERS   2

2-2 entering the final stanza – then Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins buries his second goal of the game midway through the final period and Paul Violassi adds an empty net goal for the Bruins W!  Steve Lemieux with the Bruins initial marker.  Flyers top guns – Robert Stempian and Ryan O’Rourke score.

This was a wild one, as the Habs were missing regular goalie “The Bob”, who was a little busy in Sunrise Florida celebrating with the Stanley Cup – Lol!  Bob “Bugsy” Watson with the trick for the Wings!  Pat “Crazy Legs” Berry with the deuce.  Singles for Steve “Honey Badger” Orr and Robbie Olmstead.  Duces wild for Jeff “Dick” Tracy and Robbie Porter for the Habs.  Sub Rea with their final goal.

The Wings win their third consecutive contest, as they rest comfortably in the top spot in the standings.  Pat Berry, Bobby Watson and sniper Ronnie Meltsner do the honors for the Wings.  Mark Smyth and Steve Lemieux with the Bruins goals.

This talent laden Sharks team is finally rounding into shape, as they win their fourth consecutive game!  Sub goalie Clarl once again was outstanding between the pipes!  Defenseman John Zuccarini and Dave Debrincat and sub Matt Lawson score for the Fish.  East Detroit St. Veronica grade school product Jimmy Klimkowski with the lone French marker in this penalty free game.

HAWKS   3    FLYERS   2

Robert Downey Jr. lookalike(See Picture Below) Billy Hagen scores twice for his Hawks.  Dan Bouzide with their initial goal.  Robert Stempain and Frank Pedwaydon tally for the woebegone Flyers, who are now winless in their past three doubleheaders.  Rick Neilson of the Flyers with a solo roughing minor infraction.
