WEEK FIVE PLAYOFFS

HAWKS   4    SHARKS   1

Todd Hachigan records the trick for the Hawks.  His first goal 55 ticks into the game.  Billy Hagen with the Hawks final tally.  Goaler Mike Haines with a relatively light workload.  Bruce Gooel with the lone Shark goal.

WINGS   3    BRUINS   2

Chuck Mouraine scores the first and final goals for the Wings victory.  Dave Speiss with the middle marker.  Goaler “Sugar” John Marchin was strong between the pipes.  Steve Lemieux and sub Matt Lawson scored for the Bruins who sported six subs today.

HABS   2    FLYERS   2

Doug “Jeff” Beck strums in the late game tying goal for the Flyers.  Keri Topouzian with the Flyers initial tally.  The red hot Mike Ala with both French goals.  Goalies – Brian Miller of the Flyers and Bobby Rutkoske of the Habs were both stellar in nets.  This was a penalty free game.

FLYERS   6    BRUINS  2

The Flyers dominate this game – jumping out to a four zip first period lead.  Robert Stempian scores twice for the Flyers.  Singles for Frank Pedwaydon, Bo Altherr, Keri Topouzian and Mike Fox – who also had three helpers.  Steve Lemieux with both Bruins goals as the sub laden Bruins end the playoff season winless.  Another penalty free game.

WINGS   7    SHARKS   4

The Wings sweep on the day as the Sharks descend to Davey Jones Locker.  Bob “Bugsy” Watson leads the Wings with a two goal game.  Singles for Pat Berry, Dougie Roehl, Ronnie Meltsner, Dave Speiss and Steve Orr.  Sharks – Ben Haynes, Dave Debrincat and subs Eidt and Jim Chapie.

HAWKS   6    HABS   2

Captain Billy Hagen leads his Hawks with the natural hat trick in period two!  Sub Perye, Brian Belloli and HOF football player and former television personalty Artie Donovan lookalike(See picture Below) – Keith Lutz also score.  Playmaker Todd Hachigan with a four helper game.  Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins and Denby HS graduate Jimmy Klimkowski score for the Habs in yet another penalty free game.
