The Wings spread the wealth as five different players score. Mike Miller, Steve Wink, Dougie Roehl and subs Scott Davenport and Chris Isola with the goals. Goaltender Dar with a light workload. Mike Nalepa with the Bruins marker. Captain Rex Baker of the Bruins felt a little clingy today, as he incurs two holding penalties!

Deuces wild for sub Nate McCaughtry and scoring machine Craig Bastuba, who also picked up his first assist of the playoffs, to go along with his league leading 11 goals. Returning from flu like symptoms last week, Ray Tonelli with a single in this penalty free game.

Wow! The Leafs have proverbially owned the Hawks through both seasons and the playoffs! Guess what? Billy Schaugg stands on his head and the Hawks play a shut down defense for the W. John Shelton and Rockford call up Bayagich do the honors for the Hawks. Jeff Sands with the lone Leafs marker in this penalty free contest.

The Leafs didn’t like game one’s outcome, as they dim the Stars who are now mathematically eliminated from the Sam Cupp Championship game. John Cornish with the trick. Singles for Steve Bittner, Jimmy “Jets” Galloway and Danny Shannon. Jeff Ivory with the hat trick assist. John Siterlet and sub Robbie Olmstead score for the Stars, who dropped their fifth straight game.

In last weeks locker room after the Hawks lost their first three playoff games, winger Paulie Poliizi goes: “ We have to run the table, so let’s get started right now!” Well – three consecutive wins later, the Hawks haven’t lost yet! Jeff Funk with a two goal game for the Hawks. Appearing to come out of his scoring malaise, John “Shifty” Shelton scores in back to back games. Once again, Hawks puck stopper Billy Schaugg was simply outstanding between the pipes! Mike Miller with the lone Wings marker on the power play.

The high flying Frenchmen, who have not lost in their last six contests and are tied for the top spot with the Leafs, continue to roll! Deuces wild For Rob “Rickie” Middleton and super sub Nate McCaughtry. Craig Bastuba with the Habs initial marker. Rex Baker figures in all his teams scoring with a 2 & 2 game. Chuck Bowers and Joey Reiss with singles.
