Da Sharks go on a feeding frenzy and jump out to a six zip first period lead, sending the Wings goalie into a dark place! Deuces wild for La Familia brothers Mark Micolo and “Angry” Joe Ventimiglio. Singles for subs Matt Linell and John Poolton. The Sharks sported four subs today. Youngster Terry Boyette and subs Crisi and Teneyek tally for Wings, as the Sharks do a fine job keeping Zach from reaching the back of the net!
BRUINS 4 FLYERS 2
The Bruins do all their scoring in the first period to upend the high flying Flyers. Ron Nanny and Rob Rowling both with two goal games. Nick Piccolo with the hat trick assist, as the line-mates account for all the Bruins scoring totaling nine points in the game. Sub goalie Parker with an excellent game in nets! Mike Kennan lookalike(See Picture Below)Mike Riddle with both Flyers goals.
HAWKS 6 HABS 2
The ageless Robbie Olmstead with the natural hat trick in the final period sends the Hawks to the W! Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the deuce. Counselor Brian Moore with the game winning goal. Goalie Greg “Bruce” Sutter with a very solid game between the pipes! Jim Robie and Eddie Sudzina tally for the French guys. Downtown Jimmy Brown of the Habs incurs a solo roughing minor infraction.
BRUINS 6 SHARKS 2
The Bruins feast on Shark this game, as they sweep on the day! Newly minted Captain Rob Rowling with another two goal game. Singles for Sean “The Juggernaut” Kendall, Larry “School Boy” Rowe, Ron Nanney and Nick Piccolo(Also 3 Helpers). Sub goalie Parker was outstanding in nets once again. Mark Micolo and Rob Montgomery score for the Fish.
HAWKS 5 FLYERS 1
The Hawks sweep on the day as the Flyers descend in the other direction. Jim Bulgeralli with the trick for the Hawks. Scott Leslie and Trevor Knight with singles. Goalie Greg Sutter was fantastic in nets again! Dave “Adam” West with the lone Flyers goal.
WINGS 6 HABS 1
The surprising and so far underwhelming playoff Wings, win their first game of the playoffs! Zach Wagner with a two goal game. Singles for Joe Robillard, Steve Bayagich, Angelo Pizzo and Ukrainian sub import Teneuck. Goalie Dar with a far lighter workload than in game one and in a better mood this game. Moncton call up Mike Garlick with the lone Habs goal. The incorrigible “Downtown” Jimmy Brown of the Habs and Angelo Pizzo of the Wings both with roughing minor penalties.
