Sharks depose of the Hawks behind the hat trick efforts of sniper John Poolton! Ron Nanney and sub Steve Wink also score. Joey Ventimiglio gets the Hawks on the right track scoring 50 ticks into the game. Mike Riddle with a two goal game for the Hawks. Center Brian Moore with a 1 & 3 game. Angelo Pizzo(Body Checking) of the Hawks throws a check into Dave Rupprecht(Roughing) who reciprocates and both hit the box in tandem.
BRUINS 4 WINGS 3
Bruins come up big as power forward Rob Rowling continues his playoff scoring barrage with a trick! John Siedlik with a single. Chris Robillard scores twice for the Wings. Sub Rob Aughe with their middle marker. John Siedlik of the Bruins incurs a solo roughing minor penalty.
FLYERS 5 HABS 2
The Flyers display a workmanlike effort as five players dent the twine for them. Jeff Funk (No More Funk Stories – I’m out – Lol), Johnny O., Charlie Eslinger and subs Ben Haynes and Jimmy Degan with Flyers markers. Puck stopper Greg “Bruce” Sutter with a light workload. Mike Nalepa and Billy Reiss tally for the Habs. Jeff Funk of the Flyers and no stranger to the box – Brendan Brosnan of the Habs both with roughing minor infractions.

The Flyers cement their place in next week’s Sam Cupp Championship game with the sweep, as they win their sixth consecutive game as both teams will meet again next week! Where did this come from? Solid defenseman Mike “Claude” Akins with the trick! Nice job Mike! Johnny O. with the deuce. Singles for Rob Montgomery and Charlie Eslinger. Nate McNaughtry, John Siedlik and with his 20th goal of the playoffs in ten games – Rob Rowling score for the Bruins.
WINGS 5 SHARKS 1
Deuces wild for Trevor Knight and Mike Brown as the Wings handily defeat the Fish. Chris Robillard also with a goal. Sub goalie Gordy Nadolsky with an outstanding effort between the pipes! Steve Lemieux with the lone Shark goal.
HAWKS 5 HABS 1
Reverting back to his youth(See Picture Below) “Angry” Joe Ventimiglio scores twice for the Hawks. Singles for Brian Moore, Stu Egrin and sub Frank Pedwaydon. Goalie Brian Miller with a fine game in nets and an assist to boot! Brendan Brosnan with the Habs goal as they finally complete a very disappointing last place finish in the regular season and the playoffs.
