Joey “Cutlets” Ventimiglio goes twine twice for the Flyers! Singles for the Scotts – Kostesich and Leslie. Sub Chris Ballach with an empty netter. No surprise here! Nick Piccolo with the Bruins first goal! The surprise is, it took him into the six minute mark of the game to score his first of two goals! Mark Micolo goes top shelf 45 seconds after Nick’s first goal. Not feeling in the Holiday spirit much today – Marty Papesh of the Bruins with a two and ten minute misconduct penalties! Ba humbug!

How does this happen? Playing his first game since being on the DL for eight weeks due to a severe upper body injury and the player who has probably put on his equipment more times than anyone else in this league – the ageless Terry Boyette with the deuce! Amazing! Zach Wagner also with the deuce. Singles for Jim Roble(Also 3 Helpers) and Steve Bayagich. Oh – sub goalie MacDonald with the ten save shutout. No French highlights this game.
SHARKS 6 HAWKS 5
Sneaking in from the point – defenseman Mike Akins buries the game winning goal with just over two minutes left in the game for the Sharks! Nate McNaughtry, Dave Rupprecht, Mike Nalepa, Lloyd Rogers and Waz Sarweh round out the Sharks scoring. Rob Rowling scores twice for the Hawks. Singles for Paul Elsey Jr., Steve Wink and Rob Olmstead. This was a penalty free game.
WINGS 4 BRUINS 1
The Wings sweep on the day as Zach Wagner with another two goal game! John Cornish (1 & 3) and Steve Bayagich also with Wings goals. Sub goalie MacDonald was excellent between the pipes! Mark Micolo with the lone Bruins marker, who drop both games today. No trips to the sin bin for either team.
HABS 5 SHARKS 2
The Habs play a great game as they spread out the scoring. Jim Bulgarelli, Paul Erikson, Brian Moore, Jeff Steiber and Billy Reiss all with goals. Goalie Kris Arthur with several highlight reel saves! Mike “Padre” Nalepa with both Sharks goals. Habs sub Mike Garlcik with a solo roughing penalty.
FLYERS 6 HAWKS 0
The first place Flyers are not missing a beat minus Captain Trevor Wrobel for the last two weeks, due to the utilization of very capable replacements(Keith Elsey last week with a four goal game and Chris Ballard this week) are now undefeated in their past five contests! Deuces wild for Jamie Smith and Scott Kostesich. Singles for Joey “Cutlets” and Rob Montgomery. Brian Miller was outstanding in nets with the whitewash!
