And many many others – all under one roof!
Very very impressive!
STORIED LOCAL GOALIE AND FELLOW DENBY HS GRADUATE –
BRUCE JACKSON AND MYSELF.
HABS   6    FLYERS   2
3-2 Habs after one – then the French guys pour in three goals for the decisive victory!  Paul Elsey Jr. with a two goal game, as he burns defenseman Dad – Paul Sr. twice!  Singles for Marty Papesh, Jim Roble, Steve Bayagich and sub Tyler Tenecyck.  Steve “Mario” Lemieux and sub Tringali with the Flyers markers.
WINGS   5     SHARKS   3
Deuces wild for Pat Wosek and sub John Poolton as the Wings edge the Sharks in a close game.  Ian Axworthy with the Wings insurance goal.  Speedster Anthony Amato with the natural hat trick for the Fish!
HAWKS   3    BRUINS   1
The Hawks score early twice in the final period to defeat the Bruins in a well played game!  Winning goalie Gordy Nadolsky and Bruins net-minder Kris Arthur both with excellent games in nets!  Billy Reiss with the first and final goals for the Hawks.  Mike T. Brown with the middle marker.  John Cornish with the lone Bruins goal in this penalty free game.
 WINGS   6    HAWKS   3
The surging Wings win their fifth straight game as they hand the Hawks their first defeat of the season!
Putting on a highlight reel show for his many family members in attendance for the Holidays – sub Keith Elsey with the trick for the Wings!  Wondering what he was doing wasting all those years playing defense – Pat “The Beast” Wosek with another two goal game.  Sub John Poolton also scored.  No one thought it was possible – but The Godfather of Goaltending – Dar has raised his level of play to even a higher standard on this five game winning streak!  Scott Kostesich(2) and Marcel Dimitrie tally for the Hawks.
SHARKS   7    FLYERS   6
A game of attrition!  Last goal wins!  That’s exactly what happened, as power winger Richey Artmovich buries his second goal of the game with 40 ticks left on the arena clock!  Anthony Amato with a two goal game and five on the night!  Singles for Detroit Tiger Spencer Torkelson lookalike(See Picture Below) Craig Bastuba, Ryan Boyette and Ward Peterson.  The newly formed La Familia line of sub Mark Micolo Jr.(3 & 2), Mike Nalepa(2 & 2) and fellow sub Tringali(1 & 3) total 13 points as they factor in on all of the Flyers goals!  The basement Flyers are still winless this season – 0-7-1.
HABS   6    BRUINS   1
The star laden Habs recapture their goal scoring ways, as they sweep on the night!  Habs MVP of the night(See Picture Below) Paul Elsey Jr. with another two goal game!  Big Jamie Smith also with the deuce.  As in game one – Jim Roble and sub Tyler Tenecyck with singles.  Once again – the Bruins with a one goal game, as Captain Rob Rowling scores early in the final period.  Bruins forward Jeff Steiber with a unsportsmanlike conduct minor penalty.
