WINGS    7    BRUINS   4

“Enough is enough” the league’s leading scorer Zach Wagner says after the Wings dropped a deuce last week!  Zach only proceeds to have a four goal game!  Steve Lemieux and subs Paul Elsey Jr. and Zach’s brother also score.  Center Jeff Steiber scores twice for the Bruins.  Line-mate Mike Nalepa and John Cornish with singles.

SHARKS    5    HABS   1

Da Sharks play a dominating complete game as they receive goals from five different players.  Brian Reath, Scott Leslie, Dave Rupprecht, Nate McNaughtry and sub Eslinger do the honors.  Sub Sarweh with three helpers.  Goaler Billy Papciak with a yeoman’s effort in nets!  The Habs were under the gun today, as they started with nine players(No sub for Pat Wosek) and Joey Reiss’s brother Billy pulled a groin on his first shift in this game!  Grizzled veteran Mark Rogers with the lone Habs marker.

HAWKS    6    FLYERS   3

Center Brian Moore leads the Hawks with two even strength goals and a penalty shot goal to complete the hat trick and unceremoniously snap the Flyers unprecedented two game winning streak!  Jordan Roberts with a two goal game.  Winger Rob Hergot with a single.  Larry Rowe scores twice for the Flyers.  “Midtown” Mikey Brown also with a Flyers goal.

WINGS   3     SHARKS   3

A well played game as the score indicates.  Both puck stoppers – Dar of the Wings and Billy Papciak of the Sharks with solid games in nets!  Sharks – Scott Leslie, Dave Rupprecht and Pierre Dugas.  Wings sub Paul Elsey Jr. with a two goal game.  Zach Wagner with their final goal in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   3    HAWKS   2

Both teams split on the day as Bruins sub Scott Davenport scores the game winner.  John Cornish and Jeff Steiber with singles.  Bruins goalie Kris “King” Arthur with an excellent game between the pipes!  Hawks centers Brian Moore and Scott Chodun find the back of the net in this penalty free game.

FLYERS    6     HABS   4

The Flyers get back on the winning track behind the two goal effort of center Trevor Wrobel.  Rich Artymovich and Mike Riddle also with goals.  Larry “School Boy” Rowe scores again, obviously benefitting from the extra practice he got this week with Bally Sports Detroit showing up at this house and featuring his skating rink with our own Trevor Thompson as the emcee, during the Detroit Red Wings matinee game last Monday(See pictures below).  Marty Papesh with a highlight reel goal on an assist from his daughter Jenny, who completed her hat trick assist!  Paul Stork Erickson scores twice for the Habs.  Mark Rogers and sub Neilson also with goals.  Kudos to the eight player Habs squad, who put in a gutsy performance today!
