WINGS   4    FLYERS   2
The marquee game of the day as the Wings leap frog the Flyers into first place!  Triple Crown winner(Leader in Goals, Assists and Points) Zach Wagner with the trick!  Steve Bayagich with the Wings final goal.  Bespectacled sub goalie Dave Gaskey was outstanding  in nets!  Dave Rupprecht and Trevor Wrobel with the Flyers markers.
WINGS   4     HABS   3
The top spot Wings needed a W and they sweep on the day!  Zach Wagner goes twine twice.  Steve Bayagich and sub John Crisi also score.  Andy Farah and subs John Poolton and Henderson tally for the French guys.

This was a wild one!  More on that later.  Nick Piccolo snaps a 3-3 tie with the game winning power play goal.  Rob Rowling, Ron Nanney and sub Butch Erickson also score for the Bruins.  As in game one – Dave Rupprecht and Trevor Wrobel score for the Flyers.  Sub Paul Violassi also with a goal.  There were final period fireworks as Captains Trevor Wrobel and Rob Rowling get into an altercation.  Rowling receives a minor roughing penalty.  Wrobel picks up a minor slashing penalty and a ten minute misconduct which severely hindered the Flyers with their top gun gone with 8 minutes remaining in the game!  Just for good measure, Flyers defenseman Ryan Boyette picks a solo minor roughing penalty with six seconds left in the game.  The Flyers finish out the season with a three game losing streak and the relinquishment of first place.
SHARKS   4    HAWKS   3
The last place Sharks end the season on a 3-0 run, as vocal leader “Angry” Joe mimics the Jaws music theme postgame locker room!  Rob Montgomery, Mike Atkins, Marty Papesh and Anthony Amato score for the Sharks.  Goalie Chris MacDonald with a very strong game in nets.  Mike Nalepa, Brian Moore and Jim Bulgarelli tally for the Hawks.
Which NHL goalie holds the career record for suspensions with three?
