Once again the Hawks dip into their Rockford farm club and recall sniper John Poolton, who responds in a big way – with a five goal and one assist game!!  Nice game John!  Fellow call up W. Poolton with the Hawks other marker, keeping it a family affair!  Deuces wild for Trevor Wrobel and Ian Axworthy of the Flyers.

BRUINS   3     WINGS   2

How bout this!  In his first game back – sub Mike Riddle with the game winning Bruins goal!  Everyone is pulling for you Mike!  Sean Kendall and “Angry” Joe Ventimiglio with the first two Bruins goals.  Sub goalie Scott was outstanding in nets!  Dougie Roehl and with his hair all cut off and donated to charity – Anthony Amato tally for Wings.

Habs sub Chris Ballach with the tour du chapeau!  Singles for sub Mark Micolo Jr. and returning from a month long medical absence, due to a double upper body issue – the much slimed down Captain Rob Rowling.  Hank Richardson with both of the Sharks goals.  Goalie Brian Miller with an excellent game in a losing effort.  Brian saw a ton of shots!

You gotta give these Sharks credit playing with three D today!  They played a very strong game one and dominated this contest.  Captain Nate McNaughtry was a late scratch due to serious home utility issue.  A sub could not be obtained on such late notice.  Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the trick!  Playing an excellent game – sub Waz Sarweh with a two goal game.  Singles for Mike “Claude” Akins and Scott Leslie.  Once again, Brian Miller shined in nets!  Rob Montgomery and with his son in attendance – Scott Chodun score for the top spot Wings who were minus Zach Wagner today.  Could be a major reason why they dropped a deuce?

HABS   7    FLYERS   3

Flyers forward Trevor Wrobel scores the games first two goals in the games first minute!  His first goal was a beautiful top shelf short side backhander!  It was all Habs from there!  The loaded line, of sub Chris Ballach(4 & 1), sub Mark Micolo Jr.(3 Assists) and Rob Rowling, with a career best four assist game, total 12 points in the game!  Marty Papesh with a blast, John Crisi and on a blistering drive that barely hit the back of the net – sub Ken Debus, also score for the Habs, who sweep on the day.  Rich Artymovich sneaks in from the left point and scores the Flyers final goal.       

BRUINS   4      HAWKS   2

The Bruins sweep on the day behind the stellar goaltending efforts of sub Scott!  Mark Micolo with a two game.  Singles for Jeff Steiber and Sean Kendall.  Brian Moore and Chris Robillard do the honors for the Hawks, who split on the day.
