The Bruins play a good game against the formidable Wings as Captain Rob Rowling said pregame – “Gotta outscore em!” Rowling with the deuce and singles for Sean Kendall, Ron Nanney and Mike T. Brown. The Wings receive goals from Joe Robillard, Zach Wagner, Angelo Pizzo, Terry Boyette and Grand Rapids call up Ryan O’Rourke. No strangers to the penalty box, Brendan Brosnan with a solo roughing minor penalty and sub Ken Debus with a minor unsportsmanlike penalty for the Bruins. An interesting sideline involving these two – who REALLY do not like each other, being teammates again – Lol!

Whoa! The line of Mike Nalepa(1 & 5), Brian Moore(2 & 3) and Robbie Olmstead(2 & 1) total 14 points in the game and wreck carnage on the Flyers! As only Captain Joey Reiss could put it – “It had to f###ing happen sometime!” The Habs snap their nine game losing streak! Jeff “Marine” Steiber with the hat trick. Why stop at a one game winning streak! The Habs sweep on the day! Returning from parts unknown, Centerline resident, sub goalie Mark Lusczki stood on his proverbial head this game! Deuces wild for Jim Roble and sub Chris Ballach. Jeff Steiber and Army veteran Eddie Sudzina also score for the Habs. Danny Rea and Chris Robillard tally for the Flyers who uncharacteristically drop a DH today.

Marty Papesh and Mark Micolo score for the Sharks who have now dropped their third straight doubleheader. Now to the fireworks. Sharks defenseman Mike Akins with first period 4 and 10 minute unsportsmanlike penalties. Subs and let me reiterate that – subs – Ryan O’Rourke of the Wings and officer Shane Mckibben of the Sharks engage in a bonafide fight(See Picture Below). They both start out with 4 minute roughing penalties which then escalated into the fisticuffs cumulating into 10 minute fighting penalties and game misconducts. Hmm.
