Speedster Anthony Amato leads the Wings with a two goal game.  Singles for Rob Montgomery, Scott Chodun and Ryan Boyette.  Puck stopper Dar with a very good game between the pipes.  Scoring machine Hank Richardson scores twice for the Sharks.  Sub Chris Ballach with the other marker.  

FLYERS    5     HABS   3

1-1 entering the final stanza – then the supreme physical conditioning kicked in for the Flyers in the final period!  Mike Garlick with the deuce for the Flyers.  Singles for Mike Brown and subs Barker and Scott Davenport.  Dave “Adam” West, Charlie Eslinger and sub Rob Aughe do the honors for the Habs.

The goalies stole the show this game, as Joe Polizzi of the Bruins and Chris MacDonald shine in nets!  Jeff “Marine” Steiber scores twice for the men in yellow.  Mark Micolo with the Bruins initial goal.  Brian Moore goes twine twice for the Hawks.  Robbie Olmstead with the Hawks final goal.  AND IN THIS CORNER – We have a tag team match of brothers Joe and Chris Robillard of the Hawks versus Sean Kendall and Jim Robie of the Bruins!  All four contestants crowd the penalty box with roughing minor penalties!  See picture below.

This machine they call the Wings – continue to roll, as they sit in first place with a ten point lead!  Rob “Archie” Montgomery with the hat trick!  Deuces wild for Anthony Amato and Scott Scodun.  Sub Waz Sarweh with a single.  Not too much work for goaltender Dar in this game.  Brian Moore and Larry Rowe tally for Hawks.     

BRUINS   6    HABS   4

5-3 at the end of period one!  Jeff Steiber and Sean Kendall both score twice for the Bruins.  Mark Micolo and Billy “The Dark” Knight also with Bruin markers.  John Crisi, Rob Rowling, Marty Papesh and Dave West score for the Frenchmen, who are now 0-5 in their past five games.

The high flying Flyers sweep on the day, as the Sharks go in the other direction!  Flyers rookie sub goalie Hug was outstanding today!  Toronto Maple Leaf forward lookalike Mitch Marner(See Picture Below) sub Barker with the deuce for the Flyers.  Singles for the Mikes – Brown and Ala.  Sub Scott Davenport also with a goal.  As in game one – Hank Richardson and sub Chris Ballach score for the Fish.

John Tortorella.

Peter Laviolette also was included in this list until he got canned by the Washington Capitals 

following this season.
