Billy Mac Jr. scores his second goal of the game with just under two minutes left in the game for the tie!  Mike Garlick and Trevor Wrobel with singles.  Sharks – Paul Vioalssi, Mike Nalepa, Hank Richardson and Nate McNaughtry.    

WINGS   5    HAWKS   4

Zach Wagner scores his second goal of the game on the power play, midway through the final stanza for the game winner!  Steve Bayagich, David Rupprecht and sub Emmet Wagner with singles.  The Hawks dip into their Rockford farm club and call up John Poolton, who goes twine twice.  Brian Moore and sub Paul Elsey Jr. also reach the back of the net for the Hawks.    

BRUINS   8    HABS   4

The sub laden Bruins receive hat tricks from fellow subs Scott Davenport and Steve Wink!  Sub Hering and Mark Micolo(Also 3 Helpers) with singles.  The Bruins sported four subs today.  Not to be outdone, Habs sub Keith Elsey with a hat trick!  Charlie Eslinger with the Habs initial marker.  John Crisi with the hat trick assist.  This was a penalty free game.

The Bruins sweep on the day as they receive goals from four different players – “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio and subs Scott Davenport, Hering and the red hot “Don’t put me on defense anymore” Steve Wink.  Puck stopper “Smoking” Joe Polizzi had the glove hand working this game!  With his straight up style of skating, retired St. Clair Shores policeman Billy Reiss with the deuce for the Fish.

A new Sting record, as brothers Zach and sub Emmet Wagner both record the hat trick for the same team in the same game!  Zach also had four assists for a huge seven point game!  Oh – and Steve Bayagich and Scott Chodun also score.  With this victory and two weeks left in the regular season, the Wings have now clinched first place.  Trevor Wrobel with the Flyers hat trick!  Singles for Rich Artymovich and the Mikes – Brown, Ala and Garlick.  No trips to the sin bin for either team.

Deuces wild for the Habs Marty Papesh and sub Keith Elsey.  John Crisi and Eddie Sudzina with singles.  Brian Hamlin tallies twice for the Hawks. Larry “School Boy” Rowe and subs John Poolton and Paul Elsey Jr. also with Hawks goals, as they drop two close games today.
