HAWKS    4     SHARKS   1

Still minus their catalyst Zach Wagner, the Hawks harpoon the Sharks.  Scoring his first goal of the year – Jeff Funk with the Hawks initial marker.  Greg Stacey, Jack Leavy and sub Barker also score.  Goalie Bill Papciak with a very strong game in nets.  Steve Lemieux with the lone Shark goal.

HABS    5    BRUINS   4

Commerce Township resident, sub Scott Bozyk scores twice for the Habs who sported five subs today.  Singles for fellow sub Picollo and Rich Artymovich and Rob Rowling.  Center Brian Moore with the deuce for the Bruins.  Paul Vioalssi and Dougie Roehl with singles.  Rob Rowling of the Habs picks up a solo roughing minor penalty.  He was angry today!  “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio incurs a disputed hooking penalty in his opinion, then expresses his verbal displeasure at the referee and picks up a minor unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.  ANGRY!

SHARKS   3     HABS   0

The Sharks swim into deeper waters and shutout the Habs.  Joe “Rickey” Nelson strums the whitewash!  Having a breakout year, Steve “Mario” Lemieux with a two goal game.  Billy “The Dark” Knight with the Sharks first goal.  No French highlights.

HAWKS   4     BRUINS   4

A very entertaining game for the five people in attendance!  The Hawks were down 4-2 and score twice with the goalie pulled for the tie!  Tough tie for the Bruins.  Hawks – Mike Riddle(Game Tying Goal), Rob “Larry” Giroux, Scott Mitchell and sub Barker.  Max Pacioretty look alike(See Below) Brian Moore with another two goal game for the Bruins.  Singles for Paul Erickson and Mike “Padre” Nalepa.

 

 

 

Rod Brind’Amour of Carolina just won the Jack Adams award(Coach of the Year).

He is only the third person to win a Stanley Cup as a player and the Jack Adams award with the same team.

Who are the other two?

Billy Barber with the Flyers and Patrick Roy with the Avalanche.
