BRUINS   6    SHARKS   2

As pictured below the Bruins enjoy a very delicious Shark entree!  Big Rob Rowling with the Bruins first three goals!  Singles for Larry “School Boy” Rowe, Nick Piccolo and sub Paul “The Walking Dead” Erikson.  Goaltender Chris MacDonald was stellar in nets.  Anthony Amato and Mark Micolo score for the Fish.  Normally mild mannered Marty Papesh of the Sharks picks up an unsportsmanlike minor penalty.

WINGS    6    FLYERS   3

A statement game for the high flying Wings who flew at a higher altitude this game than the Flyers.  Emmet Wagner with the trick.  Brother Zach with the deuce.  Terry Boyette with their final goal.  The God Father of goaltending Dar with an exceptional game between the pipes!  Trevor Wrobel, Dave Rupprecht and Chris Robillard(SH) tally for the Flyers.

HAWKS   4    HABS   2

Center Brian Moore scores on consecutive first period shifts to lead the Hawks to the W.  Robbie Olmstead and Mike “Padre” Nalepa with singles.  Jeff Steiber and sub Chris Ballach score for the Habs.

WINGS   4    HABS   3

The Wagner brothers with two goals apiece as the Wings sweep on the day.  Playing two really good games today, to no avail – the Habs are now 0-9 in their past nine games!  As in game one – Jeff Steiber and sub Chris Ballach score.  Andy Farrah with their middle goal.  The Habs attempted a goon it up strategy to stop the Wagner boys and the Wings, as they marched to the box five times to the Wings zero.  Killing off four of the penalties.  It almost worked.

FLYERS   6    BRUINS   5

A very entertaining affair as the Flyers edge the Bruins.  Mike Riddle and Trevor Wrobel each with a two goal game.  Chris Robillard and Danny Rea also with Flyers goals.  Scoring machine Captain Rob Rowling with a two goal game for his Bruins, his first goal coming 36 ticks into the game.  Likewise for Sting rookie sub – big Joe Silveri who records the deuce.  Ron Nanney also with a goal.  Sean “The Juggernaut” Kendall with the hat trick assist.  Rob Rowling hurriedly dressed postgame to catch the Hootie and the Blowfish concert at Pine Knob!

HAWKS  4   SHARKS   3

Two teams going in different directions, as the Hawks win their past two doubleheaders and the Sharks lose their past two doubleheaders.  Rekindling a renaissance of sorts – the hot Rob Olmstead scores twice for the Hawks.  Trevor Knight and Brian Moore with singles.  Rob “The Big Monty” Montgomery scores twice for the Sharks.  Anthony Amato with their final goal.

This NHL goalie played in a record 79 regular season games.

Who is he?

Grant Fuhr- 1995-96 – St. Louis Blues.
