I said, ‘I always take it home with me, even on game days. I take it home with me all the time.’ After that, he took his stick home after every single game. He ended up scoring 70 goals, and by Christmas, every guy on the team was walking out of the locker room with a hockey stick.”

Flyers play a strong game behind the acrobatic goaltending efforts of Greg “Bruce” Sutter.  Trevor Wrobel, John Ognanovski and sub Mike T. Brown do the honors for the Flyers.  Marty Papesh and the pride of Grosse Pointe – sub Tim Vaneckoute score for the Habs.

1-1 deep into the final period and then the Hawks score twice in the games final four minutes for a well played victory.  Mike Riddle with the Hawks first two markers.  Center Brian Moore with their final goal.  Puck stopper Brian Miller shined in nets!  Rob Rowling with the lone Bruins goal in this penalty free game.

The Hawks top line do the offensive damage again, as Mike Riddle(Another 2 Goal Game), “Angry” Joe Ventimiglio(1 Goal) and Brian Moore(3 Assists) dominate.  Sneaking in from the point – Shane McKibben with a single.  Once again, goaler Brian Miller stood tall in nets.  Chris Robillard with the lone Wings marker in another penalty free game.

FLYERS   6   SHARKS   1

Flyers sweep today and the Sharks descend in the other direction.  Johnny O with the trick!  Singles for Trevor Wrobel, Charlie Eslinger and sub Mike T. Brown.  Goalie Greg Sutter with a 12 save game.  Dave Rupprecht with the lone Shark goal.

BRUINS   7    HABS   2

Da Bruins have a field day against the reeling Habs, who are now winless in their past six contests.  Captain Rob Rowling with a huge 3 & 3 game!  Scott “Bobby” Mercer with the deuce.  Singles for Steve Bayagich and sub Rogers.  Goalie Chris MacDonald with a relatively light workload.  Joe Reiss and once again Marty Papesh score for the Habs.
