Score tied 2-2 and then with just over three minutes left in the contest, Paul Elsey Jr. buries the game winning goal! Jamie Smith and sub Egrin with the earlier tallies. Goaler Joe Polizzi was excellent between the pipes! Scott Chodun and sub Brian Barker with the Wings markers. The Wings were minus scoring machine Zach Wagner today.

The Wings play an excellent game and narrowly defeat the Bruins. Sub Brian Barker with the Wings final two goals. Fellow sub Timmy Vaneckoute of Grosse Pointe with a blast from the point! Scott Chodun also scores. Last week’s Silver Alert worked to perfection, as Wings goalie Dar makes his first appearance of the season and played exceedingly well in both games to boot! FLYERS 4 HAWKS 2
Trevor Wrobel leads his Flyers with a four point game – 3 & 1, to split on the day. Mike “Claude” Akins with the game winning goal. The Flyers successfully killed off three penalties this game. Mike Garlick and Brian Moore were the Hawks marksman.
HABS 4 SHARKS 3
The Habs sweep on the day as “Smoking” Joe Polizzi shines in both games! See picture below. Jim Roble breaks the 3-3 tie and buries the game winner with 33 ticks left on the arena clock! Paul Elsey Jr., Jamie Smith and sub Rick “Cheap Trick” Neilson also with Habs markers. Captain Mark Micolo goes twine twice for his Sharks. Craig Bastuba with their first goal. This was a penalty free game.
