“A” LEAGUE WEEKLY UPDATE – OCTOBER 5, 2023

A VPN is an essential component of IT security, whether you’re just starting a business or are already up and running. Most business interactions and transactions happen online and VPN

This is Jeff Morton’s company who plays on Tuesday’s in the “R” league.

It worked for me!  My problem was immediately diagnosed as a sciatic nerve issue. I can happily say I am now discomfort free! They treated the source, which was my lower left back area. I highly recommend this laser procedure!

The Rochester office is a well oiled machine, with no wait time and an extremely professional and friendly staff!

BRUINS    2    FLYERS   1

This game was an anomaly in this run and gun high scoring league!  Winning goalie Gordy Nadolsky and Brian Miller of the Flyers put on a goaltending clinic!  Wearing his iconic Goose Loonies t-shirt – sub Chris Ballach with both Bruins goals.  Captain Trevor Wrobel with the lone Flyers marker.

WINGS   6     HABS   3

Grand Rapids call up Mike Garlick buries the game winning power play goal!  Scoring machine Zach Wagner with the trick.  John Cornish and Jim Roble with singles.  Billy Reiss and subs Rob Hergott and Harrison Twp. resident John McNeilly score for the Frenchmen.  Buddies Scott Chodun and Pierre Dugas both receive roughing minor penalties in the games last minute, but they kibitzed postgame parking lot.

HAWKS    8    SHARKS   3

The Hawks do some successful deep sea fishing this game and open up a 6-0 first period lead!  Not quite on the level of the Howe’s or the Boyettes – but Dad, Paul Sr. and sons Paul Jr.(2 Goals) and as stated last week my favorite Elsey – Keith(4 Goals), enjoy a nice family gathering!  Oh – and Mike Riddle and Anthony Amato also score.  Craig Bastuba, Kenny Kluz and Waz Sarweh with the Sharks markers.  Sharks sub Tringali incurs a solo roughing minor penalty.

FLYERS    6     HAWKS   5

Both squads split on the day as Scott Kosteish records the trick for the victorious Flyers.  The big guy – Jamie Smith with the deuce.  Trevor Wrobel with a single.  Master facilitator “Angry” Joe with the hat trick assist.  Anthony Amato and sub Keith Elsey both with two goal games for the Hawks.  Detroit Lions quarterback coach Mark Brunell lookalike(See Picture Below) Jack Leavy also scores for the Hawks.  Robbie Olmstead with three helpers.  Hawk subs Keith Elsey picks up a late tripping penalty and voices his verbal displeasure and receives an unsportsmanlike minor penalty – which just happens to his third penalty of the game and an early game exit.

BRUINS   4    WINGS   2

The suddenly defensive minded Bruins are now 4-0 in their past two doubleheaders!  Marty Papesh, Ward Peterson, Steve Lemieux(EN) and sub Chris Ballach(PP) score for the men in yellow.  Once again – goalie Gordy Nadolsky was excellent in nets!  Jim Roble and Zach Wagner with the Wings markers.

SHARKS   4    HABS   3

The Sharks break their long winless streak behind the two goal effort of Detroit Tiger Spencer Torkelson lookalike(See Picture Below) Craig Bastuba!  Dave Rupprecht and sub Tringali with singles.  Goaler Joe Polizzi had his glove hand working this game!  Joey Reiss, Paul Erickson and sub John McNeilly tally for the Habs who are now winless in their past five contests.  Kenny Kluz of the Fish and Greg Stacy of the Habs both with very late game roughing minor penalties.
