WINGS 5 FLYERS 2
Sub goalie MacDonald stands on his head and the Wings trump the Flyers. What a contrast here! Youngster Zach Wagner and grizzled veteran Terry Boyette(Who grew up playing hockey on the frozen canals in Canada with phone books as shin pads and no helmet) both with two goal games! Scott Chodun with their final goal. Robert Olmstead and sub Mike Ala tally for the Flyers.
BRUINS 3 SHARKS 1
The Bruins snap a 1-1 tie with two goals in the games final three minutes for a hard fought W! Captain Rob Rowling with the Bruins first two goals. Ron Nanney with the insurance marker. Mark Micolo with the lone Shark goal. Winning goalie Kris Arthur and sub Parker of the Sharks with excellent games between the pipes!
FLYERS 7 BRUINS 2
Both teams split on the day, as still riding high on his first Sam Cupp Championship win last season – Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the trick! Sub Mike Ala with a two goal game. Captain Trevor Wrobel with the game winning goal. Flyers goalie Billy Papciak with a pretty light workload. Rob Rowling and John Cornish score for the Bruins. Flyers sub Billy “The Dark” Knight checks Rob Rowling of the Bruins, who chops him back and both receive minor penalties and a trip to the box.
HAWKS 7 SHARKS 1
The Hawks right the ship, as they run roughshod over the Sharks who only score one goal in both games today and drop a deuce. Two goals apiece for Brian Moore and the Mikes – Garlick and T. Brown( Also 3 Helpers). Scott Kostesich also scored. Goalie Gordy Nadolsky with a ten save game. As in game one – Captain Mark Micolo with the lone Shark goal.
HABS 6 WINGS 4
As depicted in my preseason preview, these Habs are the team to beat this season! Management did a wonderful job in the war room drafting this star studded team! They will play most of the game in the other team’s end and add multiple seasons to goalie Joe Polizzi career, who will see a limited amount of shots per game! Amazon Prime star actor Jack Reacher lookalike(See Picture Below) Jamie Smith with a two goal game. Singles for Nate McNaughtry, Jim Roble, Steve Bayagich and Paul Elsey Jr. The Habs total 13 goals in today’s DH and trust me, that should be close to the norm!
