Still on his first ever Sam Cupp Championship win high of last season – Mike “Padre” Nalepa with his third consecutive hat trick game! A nice start to the season eh? First three games – hat tricks! Way to go Padre! One of the nice guys in the game – Greg Stacy with the deuce. Goalie Billy Papciak stood tall in nets. Subs Brian Barker and inline hockey skating all-star Denny Fleschner with the Hawks markers.

The Bruins sweep and the Hawks descend today! Rob Rowling leads his Bruins with a two goal game. Singles for Shane McKibben, Rob Montgomery and Jeff Steiber. Marcel Dimitri, Steve Wink and sub Brian Barker(SH) score for the incorrigable Hawks who incurred five penalties in the game. Marcel Dimitrie with three penalties and a late game exit.
FLYERS 3 HABS 3
Flyers open a 3-1 first period lead, only to see the Habs to score two early final period goals for the tie. Both puck stoppers – Billy Papciak of the Flyers and Joe Polizzi of the Habs with very strong games in nets! Robbie Olmstead, John Bean and Mike Riddle score for the Flyers. And it had to end sometime! Mike Nalepa was held without a goal. Marty Papesh(2) and Nate McNaughtry were the marksman for the French guys.

A very entertaining back and forth contest! The Wings tie the game up 4-4 with just under two minutes left in the game. Sharks Captain Mark Micolo snaps the tie going five hole with 40 ticks left on the clock for the W! Craig Bastuba, Anthony Amato, sub Teneuck and just like the Dark Knight Returns – The Angry Returns – Angry Joe also with goals. Wings – Ian Axworthy, Paul Vioalssi, Kenny Kluz and back checking phenom Scott Chodun. The Wings drop their third consecutive game, albeit they still have not played with their regular goaltender – The Godfather of Goaltending – Dar! A silver alert has been issued.
