FOUR OF THE SIX GAMES ENDED IN A TIE TODAY!

BRUINS   4    WINGS   4

Wings sub “Roger” Neilson scores a late final period goal for the tie!  Steve Bayagich, Zach Wagner and Jim Roble with singles.  Mark Micolo goes twine twice for the Bruins.  Nick Piccolo and sub Rob Hergott also score for the Bruins.  No stranger to the penalty box – Wings sub Ken Debus and the Bruins Rex Baker with roughing minor infractions.  Bruin’s Captain Rex Baker instructed his players to show up 20 minutes earlier today, due to a new Bruins vetting process, so he could check out his teammates photos on their phone to ensure they have the moral integrity to be a Bruin!  Everyone passed!     

FLYERS   3     HAWKS   3

1-1 at then end of one period.  3-3 final score.  Steve Wink, Rob Rowling and hired gun Scott Davenport tally for the Hawks.  Sub Sean Kendall, John Siedlik and actor Brian Dennehy lookalike(See Picture Below) Jamie Smith with the Flyers markers in this penalty free game.  Both goalies – Billy Papciak of the Hawks and Brian Miller of the Flyers with strong games in nets.

Billy Reiss scores the Habs first and last goals of the contest.  Singles for Paul Erikson, Pat ‘The Beast” Wosek and going top shelf water bottle – Larry  “School Boy” Rowe.  Puck Stopper Kris “King” Arthur shined in nets!  Mike Nalepa and Waz Sarweh score for the Fish.     

HAWKS   5    BRUINS   2

The Hawks open up a two zip lead five minutes into the game and record the W.  Paul Elsey Jr. with the deuce.  Singles for Steve Wink, Bob “Larry” Giroux and Anthony Amato.  Mike Riddle with the hat trick assist.  Goaler Billy Papciak with another strong game in nets.  As in game one – Mark “Cough Drop” Micolo see picture below, with a two goal game.  

 

FLYERS   5     HABS   5

This was a barn burner and a battle for the top spot in the standings!  With teammate Brian Moore sitting forlornly in the penalty box – Greg Stacey completes his hat trick with a shorthanded goal with just two minutes remaining in the contest for a Habs tie!  Jeff “Marine” Steiber(Also 3 Helpers) and the suddenly elated Brian Moore with singles.  Sub Rob Aughe scores twice for the Flyers.  “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio, John Siedlik and sub Sean Kendall with the remaining Flyers goals.

Katie bar the door in this game, as both goalies were seen postgame wandering the aisle’s at Walgreens looking for the Solarcaine!  Zach Wagner scores his second goal of the game, with just over two minutes remaining in the game for the Wings second tie of the day!  Forechecker and back checker supreme, Scott Chodun also scores twice.  Defenseman Kurt Salvatore with a blast from the point.  Mike “Padre” Nalepa with the trick for the Sharks!  Singles for Nate McNaughtry, Brian Hamlin and with his first goal since the advent of “Live Barn” just so we can verify the goal – grizzled veteran defenseman Lou Suvak.
