Habs net-minder Gordy Nadolsky stands on his head and stones the Sharks!  Big Rob Rowling with the deuce for the Habs.  Joey Reiss gets the party started with a power play marker.  No Sharks highlights.

HAWKS   4    FLYERS   3

Da Hawks win their first game of the year!  Scott Chodun snaps a 3-3 tie late in the final period.  Brian Moore, Dave Marceo and Robbie Olmstead with singles.  Flyers sub Rob Aughe(2) and Paul “Brett Michaels” Violassi tally for the Flyers.

BRUINS   3    WINGS   1

Zach Wagner scores twice and “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio scores once in the first period and the lead holds up for the Bruins.  “Smoking” Joe Polizzi with a stellar effort in nets for the Bruins.  John McNeilly was the only Wing to solve Mr. Polizzi.  Bruins power forward Brendan Brosnan with two separate boarding penalties – one minor(2 minutes) and the other major(10 Minutes).  The Bruins were able to kill both penalties off!

FLYERS    8    HABS   3

The Flyers run roughshod over the Frenchmen as the “Triple M” line of Mike Nalepa(3 & 2), Mike Miller(3 & 2) and Mark Rogers(1 & 3) combine for 14 points in the game!  Paul Vioalssi also scores for the Flyers.  Tim Craddock(2) and Rob Rowling tally for the Habs.

WINGS   5    SHARKS   3

The Wings send the Sharks to a rare double dip defeat today!  Mike Riddle, Terry Boyette, John McNeilly, Pat Wosek and sub “Smiling” Scott Davenport score for the Wings.  Sharks – Trevor Wrobel, Ward “Weren’t You a Little Hard on the Beaver Today” Peterson and Greg Stacey.

BRUINS   4   HAWKS   3

The Bruins sweep on the day and ascend into a three way tie for first place with the Sharks and Habs.  Captain Rex Baker with a two goal game for his Bruins.  Singles for “Angry” Joe and Zach Wagner.  Scott Chodun, Brian Moore and sub Dave Rupprecht do the honors for the Hawks.
