A well played game, as winning goalie Gordy Nadolsky and Hawks puck stopper Billy Papciak both shine in nets! Exiting the Witness Protection Program – Jimmy “Jets” Galloway, Mark Micolo and sub John McNeilly tally for the men in yellow. The Robs – Olmstead and Rowling score for the Hawks in this penalty free game.
FLYERS 5 HABS 2
Flyers line-mates Trevor Wrobel and “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio both with 2 & 2 games! Rob “Archie” Montgomery scores the Flyers initial goal – 20 seconds after Larry “School Boy” Rowe scores for the Habs a minute into the contest. Brian Moore with the Habs final marker, two minutes after Rowe’s goal.
SHARKS 2 WINGS 0
The Sharks employ perfectly their SDZ strategy – SHUT DOWN ZACH! Goaler “Smoking” Joe Polizzi was simply outstanding this game, with the well earned whitewash! Detroit Tiger Spencer Torkelson lookalike(See Picture Below) Craig Bastuba and sub Henderson tally for the Sharks in this uplifting victory.
WINGS 8 HAWKS 3
It didn’t take long did it! Zach and the Wings take out their frustrations on the Hawks this game! Zach and the best forechecking and back-checking forward in the league – Scott Chodun with hat tricks! Singles for Steve Bayagich and Jim Roble. Hawks – Anthony Amato, Rob Olmstead and Paul Elsey Jr. This was a penalty free game, as the Hawks drop a deuce.
HABS 1 BRUINS 1
Mark Micolo scores two minutes into the game on the power play for the Bruins. Brian Moore of the Habs answers back five minutes later, as this is how the game ends. Habs goalie Kris “King” Arthur and the Bruins Gordy Nadolsky were outstanding in nets! The Bruins only allowed three goals in today’s games. A far cry from seasons of past. That’s why Gordy had a big smile on his face post game, with beverage in hand!
SHARKS 4 FLYERS 1
The Sharks sweep in fine fashion today! They devised a different strategy this game, as they paraded to the box six times! Didn’t matter, as former Detroit Tiger lookalike Robbie Grossman(See Picture Below) Robbie Aughe scores twice on the same penalty kill! Brings back memories when I accomplished that feat in a tournament game in London Ontario. Mike Nalepa and sub Henderson with singles. Scott Kostesich with the lone Flyers goal.
