BRUINS 6 HAWKS 3
Don’t let the final score fool you – this game was all it was billed up to be! MVP John Cornish scores his first of three goals four minutes into the game. Two minutes later, center Brian Moore of the Hawks scores to tie it up 1-1. 11 seconds after that – Warren police officer Jeff Steiber(2 & 3) scores with an assist from former fellow Warren police officer Shane McKibben to put the Bruins up 2-1. Not done! 15 seconds after that – Brian Moore scores his second goal of his shift to tie it up 2-2. Three goals in 26 seconds! Whew! At that pace the scorekeeper was worried about running out of space on the scoresheet! Following the frantic scoring pattern – a minute into the second period John Cornish scores his second and third goals two minutes apart – sandwiched in-between from a goal by Billy Reiss of the Hawks. Katie bar the door – here we go again! The teams settled into somewhat of a defensive posture, as the Bruins tally two late empty net goals for the entertaining W! Bruins Captain Rob Rowling with one of those empty netters. A good time was had by all postgame at Joe Kools!

Alex Ovechkin is one of only four NHL players to score 30 or more goals in a season at age 39 or older.
Name me the other three.
