AFTER A WEEK SABBATICAL – WE ARE BACK!

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A SAFE AND HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

HAWKS    5   FLYERS   1

Slick center Brian Moore leads the way with the trick for the Hawks.  Mark Miller and Marty Papseh with singles.  Wearing his nifty looking bright orange Edmonton Oilers jersey, sub puck stopper Brian Miller shined in nets for the Hawks!  Sub Sammy Antonucci was the only Flyer to solve Mr. Miller.

SHARKS   8    HABS   2

Oh boy!  The Sharks take out a season of frustration on the Frenchmen!  6-1 after period one!  It was so bad for the Habs, that goaler Billy Schaugg left the ice after the first period and had to be coerced back into the game by teammate Lloyd Rogers!  Billy was extremely frustrated by his teams lack of defense!  “Time to Ramp it Up” Mr. Billy Mac Jr says as he records a huge four goal game!  Senior hockey league legend “Downtown” Jimmy Brown with a two goal game.  Jeff Ivory and Timmy “Dutch” Schultz also with Sharks goals.  Rob Rowling and the Honorable Howard Smith(Sub) tally for the Habs.

BRUINS   7    WINGS   3

Nate McNaughtry with the trick for the Bruins.  Fellow center John McNeilly with the deuce.  Singles for Chris Isola and right defenseman Craig Bastuba with a seeing eye knuckler from the point.  Right winger Mike Garlick with three helpers.  Mike Nalepa, Terry Boyette and Steve Bayagich score for the Wings, who had the Brian Barr family contingent of three in the stands.

BRUINS   4    HAWKS   1

Bruins sub puck stopper “Rickie” Nelson was the story of this game, as he continually stoned the Hawks time after time!  The Hawks had the territorial advantage in this game – but came out with the short end of the stick.  John McNeilly with a two goal game.  Nate McNaughtry and Curt Lesnau with singles.  Lesnau’s goal was a Conner McDavid type of beautiful hockey artistry!  Truth be told – it was a breakaway empty netter – Lol!  Mike “King of the Road” Miller with the Hawks lone goal on a rising top shelf breakaway perfect shot.   Hawks sub goalie Brian Miller with another very good game in nets.

HABS   6    FLYERS   3

How do you stop this guy!  Mr. Rob Rowling with a big four goal game!    Flyers were up 3-2 entering the final period until Rob scores his final three goals on back to back to back shifts!  Scot Chodun with the deuce.  Joey Reiss with a two goal game for the Flyers who descend into the basement with their doubleheader defeat today.  Jimmy “Jets” Galloway also with a marker.  Goalie Kirk “Captain America” Larson with an assist.  Flyers defenseman Pat ‘The Beast” Wosek(Roughing and Unsportsmanlike Minor Penalties) and Rob Rowling(Roughing) get into a disagreement and hit the box in tandem.  I guess thats one way to stop Mr. Rowling – put him in the box!

WINGS    7    SHARKS   3

Jimmy Brown scores ten seconds into the game for the Sharks – all downhill from there!  Winger Steve Bayagich with the hat trick for the Wings.  Singles for Terry Boyette(Also Three Helpers), Paul Violassi and right winger “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio.  Donnie Riviera and Pierre Dugas with the Sharks remaining goals.  Mr. Dugas visits the penalty box a couple of times, with hooking and a solo roughing indiscretions.
