Jeff Ivory scores his first of two goals 53 ticks into the contest, to propel the Sharks to a must victory.  The Flyers battled back with three final period goals to eventually tie the game up 3-3, only to see Mike Ala and “Downtown” Jimmy Brown score goals 22 seconds apart to clinch the W.  Billy Mac Jr also with a Shark goal.  Mike Nalepa(2) and linemate Donnie Rivera score for the Flyers.

Moncton call up Scott Boyzk scores his second goal of the game with the goalie pulled, to secure the tie for the Frenchmen.  Larry Rowe and Chris Isola also with Habs markers.  Mike “King of the Road” Miller(Also 3 Helpers), John McNeilly, Al Pyc and Rex Baker with the Bruins goals.

The Hawks prevail in an old fashioned run and gun game with the Wings.  The league’s leading scorer and goal getter – Dr. Nate McCoughtry with the trick.  Hawks sub Lizbeth with the deuce.  Captain John “Shifty” Shelton with a single.  Big Rob Rowling with the hat trick for the Wings.  Steve Bayagich and left winger Dana Boyette with singles.

BRUINS  4   SHARKS   2

The Bruins extinguish the Sharks first place aspirations behind the two goal games of Todd Brown and “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio.  “Angry’s” first goal was at the seven second mark of the game!  League assist leader John McNeilly with a three helper game.  Mike Riddle and sub Bruce “Cooler Man” Gooel tally for the Fish.  A nasty moment happened in this game when the Sharks Jimmy Brown shoved Bruins sub Billy Mack from behind by the boards, reminiscent of the Kris Draper hit.  Opposing player Billy Mac Jr. assisted the shaken Billy Mack to his feet and his bench.  Brown was assessed a solo roughing minor penalty.

The Habs and goaltender Brian Miller play a great game against the top spot Hawks!  Chris Isola, Mike T. Brown and sub “Marine” Steiber score for the Frenchmen.  Dr. Nate(2) and sub Lizbeth score for the Hawks.

FLYERS   6     WINGS   4

Ouch!  The Wings surrender 12 goals on the night in their double dip defeat.  Power left winger Mike Nalepa with the trick for the Flyers.  Singles for left winger Lloyd Rogers, Curt Lesnau and Steve “Mario” Lemieux.  Goaltender Dar with a huge power play breakaway save on Steve Bayagich.  Wings – Steve Bayagich(2), Joey Reiss and Rob Rowling.  The spirited game had eight penalties in all with the Wings marching off to the box five times and the Flyers three.
