THE MICHIGAN STING FAMILY EXTENDS SINCERE GET WELL WISHES TO BILLY KNIGHT!

BRUINS   3     HAWKS   3

The Bruins play the top spot Hawks to a very entertaining stalemate.  Both puck stoppers – Billy Schaugg and Scott ‘The Wall” French with outstanding games!  Todd Brown, John Siterlet and Joey Ventimiglio tally for the men in yellow.  John “Shifty” Shelton, Mary Papesh and sub Pedwaydon reciprocate for the Hawks in this penalty free game.

SHARKS   3    WINGS   1

Young sub Keith Elsey scores 28 ticks into the game for the Wings.  Unfortunately for the Wings – that was it!  Mike Riddle leads the Fish with a two goal game.  Sub Gary “Tall Dude” Seelbinder with the Sharks final insurance goal.  Wearing his fine looking solid black jersey – Sharks net minder “Smoking” Joe Polizzi with a solid game between the pipes.

FLYERS   6     HABS   1

The sub laden Flyers put a hurting on the Frenchmen.  Left winger Mike Nalepa with the trick. Sub Paul Violassi with the deuce.  Center Donnie Rivera with a single.  Larry Rowe pounds in a first period rebound for the Habs.  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

HAWKS   5    WINGS   4

Army veteran Eddie Sudzina scores the Hawks final two goals to keep them undefeated in their past 13 games!  Keeping in the military mode – Hawks sub “Marine” Steiber with the deuce.  Prohibition gangster Timmy “Dutch”  also with a Hawks marker.  Steve Bayagich scores twice for the Wings.  Singles for Ryan Boyette and sub Keith Elsey.  Keith’s goal was assisted by his Dad – Paul!  No penalties in the game.

SHARKS   2    FLYERS   1

Oh boy!  1-1 game – then the Sharks young Chad Wooten scores a blatantly off sides goal with 29 seconds left on the arena clock!  It was so off sides – Flyers goalie Dar did not even attempt to stop the puck!  The ref missed it!  The goal counted to the angst and loud protests of the Flyers players!  Mike Riddle with the Sharks initial tally.  Donnie Rivera with the lone Flyers marker in this very even and entertaining game.  Both goalies – Joe Polizzi and Dar with outstanding games in nets!  Shaking hands after the game, the Flyers Curt Lesnau pulls young Wooten aside and tells him their is no back checking on anyone over 60 in this league!  The wide eyed Wooten goes: “Really?”  Gotta love hockey players!

BRUINS   3    HABS   2

The sleeker and the quicker “Angry” Joey Ventimiglio buries the game winner for Bakers Bruins!  Stalwart defenseman Craig Bastuba and Benny Hudson with the earlier Bruins goals, who are now undefeated in their past three doubleheaders.  Robbie Olmstead and Jimmy “Jets” Galloway with the Habs markers, who drop a deuce today.
