HAWKS
First and foremost, the Hawks will be bolstered by the return of Snowbird Howard Smith! Welcome back from Florida Big Guy! I see first line output. Second line looks a little dicey. But – Dave “Buckeye” Wahl as a final forward pick – what a steal! Solid goaltending with “Sugar” John Marchin guarding the nets.
BRUINS
Good defense and goaltending. Just don’t know if this team will put enough pucks into the net! Gary Enmark will have to shoot more – LOL!
HABS
The return of Pete Gibb to the Michigan Sting family. Welcome back Pete! Love the defense! Offense looks very functional. Goal keeper Sir Kevin Beebe has recently played well above his rating, especially after his Sam Cupp Championship victory!
WINGS
Very solid squad! The offense should put points on the board with unselfish players as the likes of Pat Collins and Brian Westenberg. Goaltending and defense looks good.
FLYERS
The team to be beat in my humble opinion! Goaltender Mike Mostyn will stop the puck! Defense is very formidable with John Zuccarini, Gerry Krause and Keith Lutz. But the highlight of this squad will be the offense. Jeff Tracy, Ben Haynes, Ronnie Meltsner, Stevie Lambert and Joe Plati as a final forward pick? Please! This team will light the lamp with frequency!
SHARKS
Defense looks very good. Brian Miller will steal some games in nets for you. Offense looks O.K. The question is – can Jimmy “Boog” Powell follow up his big offensive year minus his playmaking former line-mate Kevin Mahon? Where is Kevin by the way? He is not listed on the roster. Could he be involved in some type of covert operation for President Trump?
