Todd Schurman nets the Sharks first two markers and defenseman Dave Debrincat buries the game winning goal, with an assist from goalie Brian Miller!  Going into his garage rafters for Christmas decorations, veteran Hawks defenseman Al Phipps finds an old wood Northland hockey stick(See Picture Below)!  Guess what?  That’s what he used for his top shelf laser goal!  Robert Stempian with the Hawks final goal in the games final minute.  This was a penalty free game.    
 
FLYERS   2     BRUINS   1
Pat “Crazy Legs” Berry with the game winning power play goal for the Flyers!  Mike “Crazy Like a” Fox with the Flyers initial goal.  Sting rookie goalie Mike Haines stood on his head in nets!  Mike Harke with the lone Bruins marker.

Goalie Dave Gaskey spins the well earned whitewash for the French guys!  Hat trick machine Sammy “The Bull” Bonanno with the tour du chapeau!  Vegas Knights coach Bruce Cassidy lookalike(See Picture Below) sub Ken Debus also scores.  No Wings highlights.

After starting the season winless in their first four games, the Habs are now undefeated in their past two doubleheaders due to the attendance of Habs Puck Bunny Sophia!  For some reason, the guys have more jump in their step!  John “The Little Ball of Hate” Perini with the deuce.  Singles for Mike Ala and Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins(PP).  Ben Haynes and Bruce “The Enabler” Gooel tally for the Fish.     
 
WINGS   7     BRUINS   4
After getting blanked in game one, the Wings reciprocate in a big way this game!  Mr. Jimmy George gives himself a nice Hawaii three week send off, with a huge four goal game!  Aloha Jimmy!   Jack Priauix and Doug “Jeff” Beck with singles.  The reeling Bruins receive goals from Steve Lemieux, Dougie Roehl, Eddie Higgins and sub Bill “Rupert” Murdock.  The Bruins are now winless in their past three doubleheaders.        
 
FLYERS   2     HAWKS   1
The first place Flyers(5-0 in their 5 past games) once again get excellent goaltending from Mike Haines!  Steve Orr snaps the 1-1 tie at the middle mark of the final period!  Sub Matt Linnell with the Flyers first goal.  Captain Billy Hagen with the Hawks lone goal.  Honing his goaltending skills at Heilman Field in Detroit(See Picture Below), Hawks goalie Bobby Rutkoske with a strong game in nets!  Ryan O’Rourke of the Flyers and Chris Saber of the Hawks, take turns chopping each other and hit the box with slashing minor penalties.

The Red Wings Steve Yzerman – 1,755 points.
