Pat Collins taps in a backdoor pass from Doug Wargo for the only goal of the game! Sharks puck stopper Brian Miller was on his game in this one, as the Sharks and Miller killed three penalties. No French highlights.
HAWKS 4 BRUINS 3
After getting trounced in game one – the Hawks bounce back and defeat the Bruins. Sub Dougie Roehl with a two goal game for the Hawks. Scott Shurin and Marty Sell with singles. Adam Godard(2) and Steve “Mario” Lemieux(SH) with the Bruins markers. The Bruins Chris Zanke was up to his old tricks, as he incurs 14 consecutive minutes in penalties with a two and ten unsportsmanlike and a two minute roughing infractions. He was able to renter the game with three minutes left in the contest as the Bruins remain winless in this new season.

The ageless Danny Shannon, just called up for the Flyers farm club, buries the top shelf game winning goal with just under a minute remaining in the game! You just can’t replace experience! Jimmy George and sub Lawson also score for the Flyers. Mike Lawson and Steve Orr with the Habs markers. Both goalies – Mike Schlimgen and Sir Kevin Beebe with several outstanding saves!
