HABS 5 SHARKS 2
The Habs were flying this game as Adam Godard leads with a two goal and three assist game, factoring in all of his team’s goals! Singles for John Perini, Mike Harke and sub Gerbino. Bob “Bugsy” Watson with three helpers. Puck stopper Dave Gaskey was solid in nets. Mike Krueger and Steve “Barney Miller” Dietrich tally for the Fish.
WINGS 3 FLYERS 2
The Wings do all their scoring in the initial stanza, as Captain Brian Belloli scores the eventual game winning goal at the first period buzzer. Sub Egrin with the first two Wings goals. Ryan O’Rourke and Jimmy George score for the Flyers. Both goalies – Bobby Rutkoske of the Wings and Mike Haines of the Flyers were stellar in nets.
HAWKS 3 BRUINS 3
This is playoff hockey at its best! Winger Robbie Porter puts the Bruins up 3-2 with five minutes remaining in the contest. Danny Bouzide of the Hawks ties it up with a minute left on the arena clock! Speedsters Paul Violassi and Billy Hagen also with Hawks goals. Doug Roehl and sub Mike Garlick with Bruins markers in this penalty free game.
FLYERS 2 SHARKS 2
Another intense playoff game! Bill Murdock and Sammy Bonanno score for the Flyers, who successfully kill off the games only three penalties. Robert Stempian and Dr. Keri Topouzian tally for the Sharks. Sharks goalie Brian Miller and Mike Haines of the Flyers with excellent games in nets!
HABS 5 BRUINS 2
The top spot Habs sweep on the day. Mike Ala with the au naturel tour du chapeau and Bobby Watson with the deuce. Subbing for Steve Lemieux – Mike Garlick scores again for the Bruins. “Black” Jack Priauix with their final goal.
WINGS 4 HAWKS 1
The Wings sweep on the day as four different players light the lamp. Sub Larry “School Boy” Rowe(Also three Helpers), Mike Lawson, Brian Belloli and sub Egrin. Detroit native Bobby Rutkoske once again shined in nets! Paul Violassi scores again for the Hawks. Shown below are the actual pictures of the Mako Shark Violassi helped haul in when he was in Cabo this past week! Nice!
