FLYERS 3 BRUINS 1
The swift Jimmy George scores twice in the initial period to lead the Flyers to the W. Sniper Ronnie Meltsner with their insurance goal. Puck stopper Mike Haines was his usual reliable self between the pipes. Bruins Captain Steve “Mario” Lemieux with the Bruins lone goal. My teammate on Sunday at Hazel Park Keith Lutz – assisted on the goal, as he also assisted me pregame Sunday, as I forgot my cup and luckily Keith had a spare – Lol!
