The Flyers jump all over the Bruins, scoring three goals in a five minute opening game span! Pat “Crazy Legs” Berry with a two goal game. Singles for Steve Orr, Mike Fox, Chuck Mouraine and Keri Topouzian. Mike Haines with the ten save shutout. No Bruin sightings in this penalty free game.
HABS 3 HAWKS 3
3-3 at the end of one period and the scoring was then completed. The Hawks play a great game with a well earned tie! Jeff Morton, Robert Stempian(SH) and Adam Godard score for the Hawks. Sammy Bonanno goes twine twice and sub Matt Lawson once for the French guys.
WINGS 5 SHARKS 0
A couple of milestones were achieved this game, as the Wings unceremoniously snap their 13 game winless streak in fine fashion, as the Sharks get shutout for their third game in a row! Deuces wild for Doug “Jeff” Beck and sub Larry “School Boy” Rowe. Captain Paul Giles also with a goal. Superman spun his magic(See Picture Below) with the whitewash. No red flags on the beach this game.
HABS 5 WINGS 2
Sammy “The Bull” Bonanno with the tour du chapeau, as the Habs snap the Wings one game winning streak! Jim Chapie with a two goal game. Doug Beck and sub Larry Rowe with the Wings markers in this penalty free game.
SHARKS 6 BRUINS 3
It worked! After getting blanked in three straight games, defenseman Dave Debrincat told his teammates in between games, that whoever scores their team’s first goal will receive an autographed Alex Debrincat bobblehead! Congrats to Ben Haynes, who actually scored the Sharks first two goals! General Robert E. Lee also with a deuce. Singles for Dave Debrincat and Al Sparks. Bruins – Ronnie Meltsner, Steve Lemieux and Doug Roehl.
HAWKS 5 FLYERS 4
The Hawks defeat the Flyers in a close game, as both teams are now tied for second place in the playoff standings. Robert Stempian with two goal game. Singles for Adam Godard, Al Phipps and actor Jon Cryer lookalike(See Picture Below) Bruce Buntin. Chuck Mouraine scores twice for the Flyers. Ryan O’Rourke with a 1 & 3 game. Steve “Honey Badger” Orr with the Flyers initial goal.
