HABS   3    WINGS   1

The low scoring Wings are up 1-0 entering the final period, as Superman is swatting away shot after shot!  Then Sammy Bonanno scores 44 ticks into the final period and sub Lawson 90 seconds later for the French guys as they drop the Wings.  Goals against leader and shutout leader Dave Gaskey shined in nets for the Habs!  Al Pyc with the lone Wings goal in this penalty free game.

BRUINS   5    FLYERS   2

Returning from a two week absence, Steve “Mario” Lemieux scores the Bruins first three goals as they defeat the Flyers.  Steve’s last two goals were scored on his same shift just over a minute into the final period!  Mike Harke(EN) and Joe Plati with singles.  Flyers sub Matt Lindell with both of their goals.

HAWKS   2    SHARKS   1

A nice goaltender battle between winning goalie Bobby Rutkoske and the Sharks Brian Miller!  Points and goals leader Billy Hagen and Adam Godard tally for the Hawks.  Ben Haynes with the lone Shark goal.

WINGS   2    BRUINS   2

Dougie Roehl scores his second goal of the game with just two minutes left on the arena clock for the Bruins tie!  Doug Beck and Jimmy George score for the fourth place Wings who are now 0-6-5 in their past eleven games and according to Superman, are primed for the playoffs!  Mike Schlimgen and Superman were both excellent between the pipes!  No trips to the sin bin for either squad.

HABS   2    SHARKS   1

General Robert E. Lee with the Sharks goal in the first period as they lead 1-0 entering the final stanza.  Then – points and assists leader Robbie Porter scores in the final period’s first minute and Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins buries the late game winning goal!  Shutout leader Dave Gaskey and the Sharks Brian Miller both were stellar in nets!  The playoff ready Habs have won their past seven games!  Another penalty free game.

FLYERS   5    HAWKS   3

The second place Flyers score all of their goals in the final period as they clip the Hawks.  Paulie “Knuckles” Polizzi, Pat “Crazy Legs” Berry, Mike Fox and subs Matt Lindell and Ken Debus do their scoring.  Goalie Mike Haines who tied Dave Gaskey with the shutout lead with four, with a strong game in nets!  Centers Robert Stempian(2) and Billy Hagen tally for the Hawks.  Flyers Captain Ryan O’Rouke left the postgame locker room hastily, as he said he had a plane to catch to Vegas to visit a friend.  See below!
