Al “Mike” Phipps scores his first of two goals just a minute into the contest, as the Fish ambush the Flyers!  Playing outstanding hockey this season – Brian Miller with the whitewash!  Joe Plati also with the deuce.  Singles for Pat Collins and Mark Nuss.  No Flyers highlights in this penalty free game.

Down one zip very late in the first period – the Habs proceed to score three times within a minute to jump out to a 3-1 lead!  “Gentleman” Don Courtley with a two goal game.  Singles for Mike Lawson and sub Chuck Mouraine.  Net-minder Sir Kevin Beebe was stellar in nets!  Rob Duncan was the only Bruin to solve Sir Kevin.

4-0 Wings after period one, as they coast to the W.  Bob “Bugsy” Watson with the hat trick!  John “Hal” McRae and subs Dougie Roehl and Vigi also dent the twine.  Power forward Peter Gibb with the lone Hawks marker.  No trips to the box for either squad.

Rob “The Rifleman” Duncan scores his second goal of the game shorthanded and with the goalie pulled, with a half minute left in the contest to give the Bruins the tie and their first point of the season(0-11-1)!  Jeff “Dick” Tracy and Adam Godard also tally for the men in yellow.  Sharks – Joe Plati, Pat Collins, David Walters and sub Jeff Ivory.

The Frenchmen sweep for the day, as the Hawks descend in the other direction today!  Mike Lawson scores twice for the Habs.  Singles for Don Courtley and subs Chuck Moraine and Rick Batchelder, who contributed in all the Habs scoring with also a four assist game!  Only allowing one goal in both games today – Sir Kevin Beebe with the shutout!  No Hawks highlights as they extend their losing streak to five games.

Grand Rapids call up Dougie Roehl, scores his second goal of the game with just under two minutes left in the contest for the tie!  Bobby Watson with the middle marker.  Keith Foucher(Top Shelf), John Zuccarini and Costa Rica sub Sala with the Flyers goals.
