The Habs feast on Shark Week as Jimmy “Boog” Powell leads the score fest with the tour du chapeau! Mike Ala with the deuce. Singles for Robbie Porter and Don Courtley. Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins with three helpers. Sub goalie Dave Gaskey with a 12 save shutout. No red flags on the beach this game. This was a penalty free contest.
FLYERS 2 WINGS 1
The Flyers step up big time with a rousing one goal victory! Frank Pedwaydon and sub Ken Debus with the Flyers markers. Goalkeeper Brian Miller shined in nets! Pat Berry with the lone Wings goal. Flyers sub Ken Debus with body checking and unsportsmanlike minor penalties in period one. Debus picks up his third infraction with 11 ticks left on the clock.
FLYERS 5 SHARKS 1
The high flying Flyers sweep on the day as the Sharks go in the other direction. Deuces wild for Robert Stempian and sub Ken Debus for the Flyers. Mike “Crazy Like a “Fox with the game winner. Once again puck stopper Brian Miller stood tall in nets. Injured Captain Ryan O’Rourke did his Fred Shero impersonation behind the bench! Bruce Gooel with the lone Shark goal of the day.
HAWKS 4 WINGS 2
Hawks Captain Billy Hagen leads his squad with a two goal game. Singles for Kenny Perko and the elusive Bruce Buntin. Goalie Mike Haines with another strong effort in nets. Pat Berry and Ronnie Meltsner tally for the Wings.
HABS 2 BRUINS 2
The men in yellow play another strong game, as speedy forward Paul Vioalssi once again scores both of his team’s goals! Goalie Mike Schlimgen with another excellent game between the pipes! Mike Ala and Jimmy Powell score for the Habs.
