THE BOYS BEHAVED TODAY,  AS THERE WAS ONLY ONE PENALTY IN

FIVE OF THE GAMES TODAY AND ZERO IN THE OTHER ONE!

BRUINS    2    WINGS   0

Brian Miler with the whitewash!  Continually stopping shot after shot!  Line-mates Steve Lemieux and Joe Plati score for the Bruins.  Longtime Bruin’s goalie Mike Schlimgen, with a solid effort in a losing cause for the Wings.

FLYERS   3     HAWKS   3

Flyers winger John Dooley ties the game up with his second goal of the game with four minutes left in the final period.  Kevin Maguire with the Flyers initial marker.  Captain Ryan O’Rourke assisting on all three goals.  Someone mentioned postgame parking lot it must been rebounds!  Lol!  Billy Hagen, Mark Smyth and sub Larry “School Boy” Rowe tally for the Hawks.

Adding to his career burgeoning shutout total – Superman shuts down the French guys in fine fashion!  John Zucchini, Tommy Hines and defenseman Mike Krueger score for the Fish.  No Habs highlights.

SHARKS   2    WINGS   1

Captain Steve Dietrich scores 36 ticks into the game as the first place Sharks play their usual close to the vest game and win their sixth consecutive game.  Al Sparks with the game winning goal.  Superman once again with a strong game in nets.  Todd Schurman with the Wings only goal of the day.  Goalie Mike Schlimgen with another strong game in nets for the Wings.

BRUINS   4    HAWKS   1

Playing some good hockey and finding some offensive output, the Bruins handily defeat the Hawks.  Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins with the deuce.  Singles for Joe Plati and Chuck Bowers.  Goalie Brian Miller with several outstanding saves!  Pat Berry with the Hawks lone goal.

FLYERS   3     HABS   1

Led by New York Rangers Mika Zibanejad lookalike(See Picture Below) sub Matt Lawson with the Flyers first two goals.  Adam Godard with the insurance marker.  Goalie Mike Haines with a stellar game in nets for the Flyers.  Sub Bobby Watson with the Habs only goal of the day as they drop their second consecutive doubleheader.  This was a penalty free game.
