Playing some good hockey and finding some offensive output, the Bruins handily defeat the Hawks. Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins with the deuce. Singles for Joe Plati and Chuck Bowers. Goalie Brian Miller with several outstanding saves! Pat Berry with the Hawks lone goal.

Goalie Mike Haines with a stellar game in nets for the Flyers. Sub Bobby Watson with the Habs only goal of the day as they drop their second consecutive doubleheader. This was a penalty free game.
