WINGS   2   BRUINS   1

The battle for the top spot in the standings did not disappoint!  John “Hal” McRae with the game winning goal for the first place Wings.  Sub Mike “Drew Carey Look A Like” Folster with the Wings initial marker.  Goaler Bobby Rutkoske was outstanding in nets for the Wings. Rick Batchelder with the lone Bruins goal.

HABS   2    SHARKS   2

Kenny “Prime Time” Wilkins ties it up with a buck fifty left in the game for the Habs!  “Gentleman” Don Courtley with the Habs first period marker.  Sharks subs Lawson and Niecalek dent the twine.  Both puck stoppers – Mike Schlimgen and Sir Kevin Beebe with solid games between the pipes.

HAWKS   2    FLYERS   2

Another 2-2 game as the Flyers Keith Foucher and Billy Hagen score in the first period.  Mark Smyth and sub Cam Lawrence reciprocate in the final period for the Hawks.  Goalers – Keith Connie and Mike Mostyn were both stellar in nets!

WINGS   3     SHARKS   2

The Wings win two close one’s today behind net-minder Bobby Rutkoske.  Having a fine season – Brian Belloli with the deuce for the Wings.  John McRae with another Wings game winning goal!  Barry Piornack and Gary Szylanski with the Sharks markers, who are now winless in their past four doubleheaders.

HAWKS   8     BRUINS   0

The Hawks run rough shod over the second place Bruins scoring six times in the final stanza!  Mr. Mark Smyth with his first career four goal game!  Steve Orr with the deuce.  Singles for Eddie “The Eagle” Higgins and sub “Old Man” Jack Priaux.  Cam “Steamboat” Lawrence was the master facilitator, with four helpers!  Keith Connie with the seven save shutout.  Absolutely no Bruins highlights!

FLYERS   4    HABS   2

Sting rookie sniper Billy Hagen with the trick for the Flyers!  Sub Scott Leslie with a single.  Ronnie Meltsner and Kenny Wilkins score for the last place Habs, who only have one W in the season and are now winless in their past ten games!  Time to mix it up “Prime Time!”
